Thunderbird Tuna Time

Tuna fishing in 2015 was insane and one of the sport boats that has been on top of there game for decades is the Thunderbird located in Newport Beach California out of Davey's Locker. On this Stoked On Fishing charter captain Jeff Markland heads offshore and finds a spot of tuna that blow up on the chum line first thing in the morning and gets the guys and gals pulling on fish on light tackle.

This is why I don't like party boats. Too many people and no one will reel in so that one guy can get in his fish. And if this was supposed to me a limited load for the boat, what does a full load look like.

Fluorocarbon leader is rarely needed to get hookups and it is brittle and breaks way to often to be something I would ever use again. Use a quality mono like Mamoi High Catch Diamond. Fluorcarbon leader material is basically a tackle box store's scam. What is nostril strength? Fresh one? Who hooks an old one?
