The defender in Argos is cool! Never knew Bremen had a tbolt though, sweet, all I see is the model 2? On a pole along US 6.

There's also an STL-10A by Lake of the Woods to the WSW of Bremen, which is controlled by Bremen, over by a park on the west side of the lake off of W Shore Drive. There's another siren on the east side near Chicago Street & E Shore Drive, but I don't know what that one is.

Yes they have this Thunderbolt, 6 more Model 2s, 2 2001-SRNs, and an STL-10 down by Lake of the Woods.

Aha, so that's what that one is. I knew there was one over there but I hadn't seen it yet, and aerial maps aren't much help either lol. Yeah I found out Bremen controls theirs and LOTW's sirens too, and I'm assuming the other towns must control their own sirens as well. (unless the county does anything with them?)

Good thing this Thunderbolt is still strong after falling, I saw another video of a 1003 that fell down, causing a solenoid to fail, break the rotator and cause the blower to fail. Glad this thing still rotates and sounds brand new.

maybe il change my plans for my vacation and go back to Bremen in May and see if they alternate test days between alert and atack, but who knows.

I knew about the STL. The other siren is a Model 2, btw. Didn't know those were controlled by Bremen. Thanks for the info!

Nope. Each town has control over their respective system, and the county has no control over them whatsoever. That's why it was a big mystery to us on who owned LOTW's system. There are some real gems in that county though, this Thunderbolt, the STL, a T-112, a beat up 3V8, and a Defender. You can't ask for much else lol.

Sounds more like an agastat or RCM1 issue to me. The rotator did the same thing the blower did.

the other Lake of the Woods siren which is right by the FD is a Model 2. kinda hides in the trees.

This is the 1st time any Bremen siren has been recorded, so I have no idea if they normally test in attack. Not sure about weather warnings either, but I'm assuming it's attack as well. Yeah, the ambience was awesome. Sometime in the near future I'm planning to get an ambience from the high school, which is in between all 3 types of sirens.
