Never understood why Thunderbolt was not as popular as some of his other old movies. It was and still is a great classic film.

I've red somewhere years ago that it's because Jackie doesn't do all his stunts, the fight scene where everything became blurry wasn't done by him, reason he broke his foot at Rumble in the Bronx, and that's the reason USA didn't like it and yeah rest you know..

I recently watched _Thunderbolt_ on DVD, I’m a big car film fan myself and this was one of the best films I’ve ever seen. All done with realistic racing scenes, stunts and speeds with no unconvincing over-the-top CGI or Slow-Mo effects. It’s puts all the Fast & Furious films into shame.

There's plenty of reasons why the gto isn't popular. Lots of reported electrical issues and its weight of 3700 lbs compared to the bnr32's 3100 lbs. Issues aside it's still a great car but it was completely overshadowed by its competition.
