I liked Pumyra a lot when she showed up... Unfortunately she wasn't used much towards the end of the show... Remember passing by a department store display window and wanting to get her action figures... This was back in the 80's, sadly my parents wouldn't buy me female action figures...

I wanted Snake Mountain as a kid, but my parents didn't want me to play with boy toys.

Where is Pumyra's theme song? In the original TV show, it played once or twice. At least once when she was fighting Chilla from the Lunatics.

She never had music in the original show.

@@sconex8072 - Really? I could have sworn that she did. Maybe I was mistaken music that only played occasionally as Pumy-ra’s music? I know that Benga-li has his own theme. It played when he was fighting the Berserkers that were douched in Mumm-ra’s liquid that supposedly enhanced their ability to defend themselves in battle. Did Lynx-O have his own theme, I don’t think so?

I dislike the treatment the 2011 Thundercats show gave to her by transforming her into a villain, when she was a Thundercat. I'm glad that show was cancelled after one season.

I still like the 2011Thundercats. But there were some changes I didn't agree with. The statement on your comment is one of them, I agree with you

Chiming in about the THUNDERCATS 2011 REBOOT: The show had a lot of potential. Though it was a different take on the original series, I really appreciate how most of the episodes was written to not only be entertaining, but also tackling big issues in life that most shows today don't even spend one minute on. Episodes like Songs of the Petalars, Ramlak Rising Native Son, The Duelist and the Drifter and The Soul Sever to name a few that shaped me into what I am today. I will never forget the lessons I've learned from them. Now that is out of the way, on to the writer's and producers mishandling of Pumyra. Truthfully, I really believe that how Pumyra was villainized by those that wrote and produced the show was what put the ax to the series. The toy-line was said to be a factor, but I believe the way she was handled had offended a lot of fans of the original series. So much so that it has brought the series to a premature end. Which is why in writing the series, there should have been true fans of the original on board to oversee and offer advice. Not only to assure that the characters were not only reinvented with a fresh take, BUT to also make sure that those involved in the show HELD STAYED TRUE to the traits of each character we've grown up with. Yes, not letting Snarf talk has allowed a lot more charm to be brought to him. But Pumyra being treated like a total evil be-OTCH, in my honest opinion, was the final nail driven into the coffin of the series, long before the story's end.
