I kinda like this series better then the old one. No offence to the fans of the old show, (believe me I did grew up watching the older series), I just felt like the older series was kinda cheesy with the voice acting, and this new Lion-o actually has a bit of a personality, when as I remember, Lion-o from the older series, was kind of the typical manly hero dude. Plus new Snarf looks adorable, old one look ugly. Again just my opinion, not trying to be disrespectful to old fans or anything.

I actually think it's kind of cool that the 80 series is actually the past for the 2011 show...Its just Lion O, Tygra, Cheetarha, and so on have been switched out...so instead of them being the founding Thundercats of the 80's they are instead descended from them...At least that is how I took it...

And nobody even points out how Lion-O is pretty much ignoring the only survivors of his people. It’s like if Aang, Sokka and Katara found a couple of Airbending kids at the Southern Air Temple and saying: “Good Luck!”

My only complaint here is the designs for Kat and Kit. They look similar to Pokemon. I think 80's designs were better for them. Lion-O's mane could be much fuller instead of the short spikey look. Hopefully it will grow in later as he gets older................if he gets older.
