​@@Alma-vs3tzyou realize all predators are afraid of bigger ones, right? Mouse are afraid of cats, even though cats are scared of dogs and ravens. Does this make cats cowards? Also, how does ypur comment excuse the fact that the critters have no survival instinct, even though an animal that specifically hunts them is currently holding it? If this specific flock are predators that hunt small/wounded animals then its safe to say that the rest of their species is like that. And if an entire species has one set role in the ecosystem then other species will associate the species with that particular role, so if Nyctosaurus/Pteranodon/Cereadactylus/whatever the hell these things are is a predator of small animals, then the small animals would be scared of them and try to run away from them.
