42 years old and watching this back as I was there. Thunderdome, Mysteryland and Speed Razor were the best parties back then for me. Best part of the night was to just walk in circles and meet new friends. I’ve met so many people and got offered so many drinks, lollipops, gum and dr@gs from absolute strangers. It felt like we were all one big family. No violence, only love between each other and love for the music. The images speak for themselves; you only see happy faces. Those years from 96 till 98 were the best.

I love watching clips like these. I went to a lot of rave parties and clubs in 90s. I was born in 1976 in the Netherlands. Whole my youth I spent going to similar races. (Not particularly this one). I think the only thing that makes me happy to be almost 44 is that I lived through the best times in my opinion . Able to legally drink in November 97. Only birthday I thought worth celebrating. I'm too practical. Why celebrate the ageing of the body. It's not even my body. It belongs to the earth. I amn't even borrowing it but the ego is.
