@@carnaticmusicocean4911 Please update. And Semmangudi was not Padmabhushan. Some people, like Semmangudi, attain a stature where it is superfluous to mention the awards confered on them. These days you have to listen to a list of her awards for 30 seconds by a South Indian talker before he lets you know (if you are still awake at that point) that he is talking about MS. And one Sri is not enough, so you have Sri Sri Sri Sri Semmangudi, and Sri Sri Sri Sri Yesudas. And please add the year of the concert in the description (if you are still awake and reading), if it can be ascertained that it was indeed 1981. Why are the words, and the taalam, of the pallavi of an RTP ('Un Darisanam Kidaikkumo Nataraja Dayanidhe' here) tend not to get listed?

20th century belonged to Semmangudi mama. There’s none before or after to equal him in musical brilliance. His Harikambodhi and Kalyani are just examples. Thanks to technology we are blessed with these concerts. I have this recording and hearing through KZbin is a handy experience. Thanks.
