You have to stream it by using speakers that sport high fidelity sound like Apple HomePod or Sonos. My music is stored in ALAC on my computer drive. My music was purchased and ripped from CDs into that lossless format.

@@VIN7ERwav you have to cast the video’s audio to 2 stereo pairs of speakers. It works best on any high-end smart speaker that features high quality audio. So for me, you will hear the surround sound on Apple HomePods and the HomePod Minis.

5.1?
@adamslosslessmusiccollection2 ай бұрын
@@VIN7ERwav Yes, those speakers have 5.1, as the Apple HomePod has Lossless, Hi-Res Lossless, and Dolby Atmos playback. This video (and even album) has superb audio when played on those speakers with rich audio and deep bass.

@@VIN7ERwav for a consumer to have their music become Dolby Atmos-like, you have to personally buy the album and then have it uploaded to the iCloud (using your Apple Music subscription; music in the iCloud is unlimited). It then converts on Apple’s servers to become Lossless and/or Dolby Atmos. For me to have the software to convert my personal music to Dolby Atmos, it would cost a lot of money for a Dolby license. Dolby Atmos actually works best with vocal music as you can hear the vocals coming from different directions. Lossless is actually good enough for a music album or track because of the audio’s richness in terms of detail and clarity.
