this map was an example of a well designed COTD map that is also challenging. so often COTD mappers will solely go for difficulty (ignoring flow) or flow (ignoring difficulty), but this one struck a good balance imo

this is one of the ones I've gone back to a few times, yeah. I feel like that quality of balance is more common to find in dirt COTD maps, at least as far as the maps I've played

@@FerousFolly kind of agreed, but i also feel like nadeo picks waaaay too many dirt maps for cotd especially in the past week. dirt tech is not my vibe but dirt speed maps are generally a really fun time

@@prodfife dirt is def my fav fullspeed surface, just feels so fluid, but I get what you mean. personally I love grinding dirt tech because it's the only tech style I really enjoy, even if I'm not great at it

@@FerousFolly personally I like road tech more due to lack of the edge curves and because i like hitting clean drifts, but you're totally right in how smooth dirt is overall. i'll take dirt tech over ice or grass tech any day of the week LMAO

@@samwarren6008 no you have to pay attention to one thing ill have adhd i have zero rpoblems driving, im one of the most focused driver 8 hours driving stay focus no problem thats the strengh of people with adhd (of if you have something like your phone out you ofc can get easly disrackted and will crash)

@@samwarren6008 How what? I'm not sure where you drive, but where I drive you have to focus on two things. Stay in the lines and go the speed limit... It's not that difficult. Hell, it's so easy I'll blast music and zone out. Driving is like riding a bike, once you figure it out it's damn near impossible to forget.

Because we perceive scent by picking up odorants(particles) it will never be as widespread as some people think. Light and sound are both waves and can easily be recorded and transmitted but you can’t freely do this with particles and outside of certain biomedical fields, it will just remain a fun novelty. Olfactometers can be used to measure scent(extremely oversimplified), however you need to produce these particulates on the viewer side of things and that’s simply not feasible unless you have the specific scent you want the viewer to smell planned in advance and can somehow get it to them.
