This is partly a remix of “The Collision of Thunderstorms,” the final boss theme of Gunvolt 1. Except then it was a battle between two Azure Strikers, hence “collision.” Now, there is only Asimov. And that’s why there is no hint of Gunvolt’s main theme in this track as opposed to the GV1 song.

It might be because this is Asimov’s true theme. Collision of Thunderstorms/Thunder Crashes is specifically a theme for Gunvolt vs Asimov; you can hear hints of 1st Sumeragi in it. Whereas this theme has the parts from Thunder Crashes that ISN’T from 1st Sumeragi.

phase 1 bosses are typically easier than phase 2 bosses. Also this is me, but I think Demerzel is the weakest final boss of the series in terms of difficulty.
