When you start out hiking to your destination, I enjoy when you are filming at the same time and we get to see all the surrounding scenery instead of you having to set up all the time. You had some really good shots of the mountains, just beautiful

I really enjoy watching these videos. What I would appreciate is an annual summary that covers the key lessons learned, the toughest challenges faced, and aspects Luke is thinking of changing for future camps. A yearly special episode summarizing these points would be great.

Great adventure! I love the sound of thunder and rain hitting my roof...just don't like lightning unless my feet are off the ground in my van. A few nights ago as I was boondocking, lightning began, so I headed to my van. Just as I entered my sliding door entryway lightning struck a tree about a hundred yards behind me. The light lit up my darkened interior. That was too close for comfort. Luke, it must be hard not to talk or even express anything. Even when I am alone I usually express something like "darn, that lightning was too effing close!" Beautiful campsite!

The ruck sack really highlights the front pouch. Have you ever worn a larger front pouch. I used an outdoor research pouch attached to my sternum strap of my osprey and later my old camp trails frame pack in my 1999 thruhike. I ask because I often wondered if my posture would have been better with more weight in front of me.

Pause.
