Informative video! Thanks! I heard you mention that you live in East Texas; I'm next door (Alvin, TX) and hope to add a Thunder Laser to my shop sometime this Fall/Winter.

I'm kind of surprised that there isn't a software setting that would have the fan come on first and then the laser rather than having to do a manual start of the fan.

There is a Delay setting. I just find it easier to have control over it myself. Especially when I'm cutting Delrin and other really smelly stuff.

Do you have to have your laptop connected to the laser to enter the compensation settings in off the card
@fridgecritter2 жыл бұрын
I did enter the offsets yes.

Thanks for walking through this. Considering picking one up and it's good to see what steps are needed beforehand.

With this set up will you laser be wireless?
@fridgecritter2 жыл бұрын
No but you can make it wireless using the Lightburn Bridge

Nicely done... It has been a few months since you published this video, when can we expect the next one? It would be great to see you put this machine through its paces... Identify its strengths, limitations, and weaknesses. Excellent job.

Im from Henderson, not far from you where are you sourcing you 1/8" from? i havnt found a local source that supplies it in sheets
@fridgecritter3 жыл бұрын
The best place is if you can find a local cabinet maker that sources them wholesale, gives you a little markup on them and you can get a whole pallet. I've been sourcing them from Home Depot or Lowes
