But they are making a fool out of us and suck our blood and sweat which is not fair. Everyday I receive calls to purchase a credit card. Even if I say that I am happy with my debit card, the bank is clearly forcing the employees to expand their credit card sales that I am receiving calls everyday

Bro, You missed the most silliest charges bank will charge, which I faced. If you take print out of your bank statement for certain period from your internet banking system and asked them the manager to sign, they don't accept it and they will print themselves our bank statement for the period we ask and they will charge for no. of pages of bank statements upto 250rs which may be required for visa application processing or any other processing where you need to submit bank statement signed by manager of your branch.

Adding to SMS charges, bank is ready having resources to send / call customers for promoting personal loans credit cards etc, but they don’t resources to send reminders for Credit card EMI’s. Because they want customers to forget EMI’s due date and pay penalties + gst

Nationalised banks don't generally charge so much compared to private banks like HDFC...but credit cards are one big scam for sure... Even among nationalised banks charges for vary ..for eg SBI doesn't seem to charge for non maintenance of minimum balance nowadays... Esp after COVID

Did any private bank comes to ur house and ask u to open account, here also for prestige and to show ur status many genius open account in MNC bank. Since without many document they provide loan. That is reason many people open account in mnc. Also about credit card many comments, did they approach r force u to buy credit card, to be frank those who use credit card r impotent since they cant r unable to manage there expenses with in there earnings. Appreciate your efforts in identifying these bank flaws. You forgot a few more , they seem to go beyond hidden charges. Charging your Locker Rent, even if you don't own it. If you don't submit Form 15G/H , then TDS also bank deducts.

Bro TDS amount paid to Govt IT Dept.... Banks don't get to keep your TDS amount. While filing your IT, u can claim bank the amount deducted, if u r eligible for refund. Neenga tax um file pannala , 15G um submit pannala na adhu unga thappu dhan ji ... this is Indian govt rule; not bank rule....

Madan it's completely different If you are holding savings account you have to maintain minimum balance and debit card charges but If you are working in company and you are holding a salary account in any bank it's is completely Zero balance account you don't need to maintain minimum balance and no debit card charges

Corrections. 1. Salary account doesn't need minimum balance. 2. Cash handling charges applied even home branch. I am Canara Bank user. As i know tamil people withdraw their money within two three times their salary in ATM. But North Indians or who lives in hostel withdraw money less than 500₹ or 1000₹ due to money unsafe in hostel. They are only heavily affect for ATM charges like one or two days salary only for withdrawal.

If we need purely a bank account then opt for BSBDA..Basic Savings Bank Deposit account that has no charges when compared to other value added account types. If we need more services & convenience then it comes with a cost. Before Jio arrived, only when balance is over we used to recharge but now we are reaching every month - we all are part of a big business ecosystem...when it changes everyone is forced to adapt..

I'm a banker. I request everyone to go through the terms and conditions carefully before accepting any loan or credit card or other mortgages. That agreement is the one that's gonna save banks from legal issues. So make sure to understand it fully.

In addition to your video, in petrol bunks, when you use any debit cards with different bank's swipe machine, sometimes surcharge will be deducted from your account. We will not notice these amounts, if you are not checking your statement continuously through netbanking or mobile banking

It is important message from Madan to be aware of all the hidden charges levied by banks. My zero balance account in HDFC was converted to a standard account and they started deducting minimum balance charges. When I enquired for the reason, they told me a reason that I could not even understand. From the same bank, I was given mental torture during the moratorium period to pay my loans. When I raised a complaint, the concerned team from the bank told me that they never made any calls to ask for payment.
