You know that feeling where you don't even feel like going to church because it's the same whether you go or not life remains the same. I know that feeling is from Satan. Hi there Rito, I just happened to see your comment and couldn't ignore it. If you'll please allow me to say a couple of things to send some encouragement your way: We do get weary sometimes in our faith and our hearts become heavy the longer it takes for an answer to come from God. When we pray the same prayer year-in year-out with no results, it gets hard. This often begins to challenge our faith heavily. We often feel alone like no one will understand because everyone around us looks like they are always on fire and never lose strength. Sometimes it will feel like no one is carrying you in prayer and you are fighting this battle by yourself.... Remember the time when Jesus said to Peter, "Satan has desired to sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith will not fail"? Jesus saw the challenge coming in advance and prayed for him. He intervenes and intercedes on our behalf. You will make it through this. The Lord knows our times and seasons...He knew in advance that you would go through this time of feeling like God does not hear you....He already says "Come to me all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" ...your resting place is found in Him. Go as you are_ No fancy language; no pretending to be spiritual.....just as discouraged as you are - He won't turn you away. He will be your strength. If all you have are tears, then just cry and say "Amen". He hears your heart. A broken and a humble heart God will not reject (Psa51:17). Try and recall what captured your heart when you first came to God, in the early days of Salvation. Before life became harder, before disappointments and before people hurt you ....revisit those memories when you trusted God, when He was your everything and hold on to the fact that though our feelings change and our emotions go up and down....this God we serve and love, can never change - He remains constant. He is the same God that captured your heart on Day 1 ...He is the one who is a Father to the father-less. He is the keeper of promises, that is who He is. Even when we are faithless, His word says that He remains faithful because He cannot deny Himself (another version says "He cannot be false to Himself") 2Tim 2:13. God loves you. He has not stopped. God claims you, you are His. I may not know what you are facing but please consider this: If it's a prayer that has long been unanswered - Go to your Father and ask Him "God did I misunderstand something? Did I assume what Your will is without asking you thoroughly? Am I praying amiss? If so Lord, please reveal to me what I should be focusing on and show me what steps I am to take next. Ask for wisdom to see your situation with new eye and perspective(James 1:5). May He give you Grace. Romans 8:26 says that the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses...it is the Spirit who intercedes for us when we don't know how to pray as we ought to. May He remind you of your First Love and bring you to the place of new strength and new experiences in Him. May every thought in your mind that is opposing the truth of His Word be pulled down and silenced, and may your spirit sing a new song as His voice becomes amplified again in your life. In Jesus's Name, it is so! Keep well.

Hold up, hold up, hold up guys!!! 🙌🏾 Am I Bilaam or the donkey in this situation? I'm confused caused at first I was tracking fine understanding how me (Bilaam) can't just go anywhere and or do whatever I want, and that God will block the way when I (my donkey/ambition) go off-route. But now Bilaam becomes Satan- wait! Hold up, I'm a baby Christian and I really wanna understand. So Bilaam in this context is the stuff we struggle with and our worldly ambitions? And the donkey is my conscious? I need to understand because I am a 33 Year old women blessed with ADD , so I draw pictures when I take bible study notes. I'm a bit muddled on whose who in the Zoo (if you have a sense of humuor then you should be chuckling at my Zoo joke😊) and l am also very conscious that it may be my human ignorance that contributes to this confusion. I hope to hear from any of you guys watching soon. Thank you 🙏🏾
