Had some jars I got lazy with . They were inoculated in April. They seem to be doing just fine . They just want to live I guess .

That didn't piss me off. I've been growing for 3 months now and have about 60 percent success rate. I have learned from all my contams so far. It is still really simple to grow mushrooms. I've only had contam with agar and spawn. none of my cakes have contamed yet. And when they do i will adress it. Wasn't trying to sound cocky just saying it's easy to get into. Obviously, the dna and biology stuff is way more complicated than just making some spawn and putting it in coir.

I know what you mean. I just want to make sure people don't get too sloppy during the learning process. Bad habits tend to stick with people and cause major problems that they don't know how to fix later. That probably explains why 80% of the people I've known in life didn't do well later. LOL

Making spawn and putting on coir? 😇🤣🤣🤣🤣It is not only about dna and biology, that is another level. Come back and tell us after 3 years growing, you will find out that Dr Ed is right. Contams are around the corner, don't say it too loud because they are listening.
