In my morning meditation I begin to think about two things. 1) even though Joseph and Mary had a divine responsibility, it didn't stop them from obeying the decree. Now days how many excuses do we use to fund our disobedience i.e. the Holy Spirit is my ONLY teacher.... 2) it would SEEM that the shepherds would be fearless and courageous due to their responsibilities however, at the appearance of the angel (ALL) were FILLED with GREAT fear. This let's me know that we all are subject to experience moments where we will be faced with situations that will challenge some of our greatest strengths.

One interesting concept is even when people try to eliminate Christ by calling it Xmas, they are still not removing Him for the letter X in Greek is Chi and pronounced as "kh"... its a little stretch but interesting to me.
