Pretty interesting puzzle. A bit unfortunate that all of the reverses were horizontal, would have been nice to have a vertical one in there somewhere. Or perhaps it was fortunate there wasn't, as it would've only further confused anyone who didn't figure out the trick. :)

Las Vegas becomes Salvages. I don’t believe the two words/phrases for each of the theme clues are related other than they are both legitimate words/phrases. I thought this was a very clever construction. The theme was simple but not necessarily easy.
