I never would have come up with all this on my own. Thanks so much for making this easy to follow tutorial. I love that you have demonstrated the use of this engineered pocket page using a variety of paper collections. Designer papers can make such a difference...same page, but looks so different from book to book. I'm sure I'll be back often to double check all your directions. Happy crafting!

I taught this page in a 2 part class and I adapted it for the stack the deck binding by Laura at Following the paper trail. where you glue your tabs down to put the bind it all holes in, I just did not glue it to the bottom just the tabs to each other. my hinge fit right in then glued everything together. worked great! we did a swap you made six pages exactly the same then we came together and put our mini albums together everyone got 1 of everyone's pages. it was fun! I loved what you did with your albums!! they are beautiful!!

Hi Ginger! Although I already viewed this tutorial, I just had to tell you how doing one page has been my therapy today. I wa really stressed with my sister in the hospital for the one millionth time and have not slept much for several days. So, I said to myself, "Self, what craft activity would make you feel better?" Self answered, "View some Ginger. She always cheers you up." SO, that's what I did with some stray G45 paper. Thank you Ginger for your delightful videos and tutorials. It made my day!

@barbararobinson56178 жыл бұрын
it is here in Beavercreek, Ohio which is a suburb city of Dayton. we're located in the southwestern part of Ohio. The store is "Barbara's Scrappin' Place" and would love you to visit if ever in the area! The store is 7000+ sq feet, and i am putting a crop room and classroom into the store along with carrying items not readily available at box stores here. You definitely are a gem in the crafting world.

Thanks! I used Kraft cardstock from the Paper Studio which I get at Hobby Lobby. It doesn't say the thickness or weight. Whenever I use black cardstock I use Recollections brand from Michaels. The packaging says it is 60lb.

Lol! Not sure, I think It was just me banging around my bone folder and paper trimmer. The microphone we use picks up everything. We try to cut out the background noise but some things we just can't. Did you hear the train in the background too? Lol!

My Sisters Scrapper lol yes, I heard the train! It must have been an echo from the bone folder. I was thinking maybe a kid or a cat knocking around lol

hi could or would you tell me how this pocket is place on hinge that you use on your cover and hinge tutorial Thursday tutorial I am stuck I got everything together but not sure how to place pockets on the hinge just learning thanks
@mysistersscrapper9 жыл бұрын
You attach the page to the hinge by slipping the hinge inside the small pocket that you created on the back of the page. Apply score tape to both side of your hinge then slip the hinge inside the small,pocket. This attaches the page to the bottom as well as sealing up the bottom of the pocket.

Do you have a tutorial on how to make the album?
@primitiveseasons110 жыл бұрын
OK I'm following along but when I fold down the two little hinge sections one is shorter than the other as is the top piece folded to the front and the second piece to the back. Those two are half inch short. I'm confused!!!
@mysistersscrapper10 жыл бұрын
Mary Puskar yes, one is shorter than the other one because we trimmed a half an inch off.. Fold the smaller hinge down first then fold the other one down on top of it. The two shorter sections should be at the bottom. You fold both of those up together and then only fold one of the top section down. It measures 4 x 5-1/2. The other section that is the same size gets folded to the back.
