EDIT: This was like every era of Thursday mended into one song, but somehow still manages to be refreshing and new. What fucking legends. I been with you guys since 97 when I was 13 - I am now 40. It how funny Thursday and I just found this band.... White bikes is the very first song I have ever heard... I so far really enjoy them allot big time... It's nice to hear white bikes... Here in San Francisco, California there are white bikes in little placements through out the City.... Here's to the person (s) involved for the remembrance of those people.... It takes a great heart to keep up the tradition of one person's act of kindness to never forget about another human being... Their Beautiful efforts need others to fill in the gaps left here and there we all must pass on to the otherside.... It would be a nice legacy to start with your kids with doing something positive and productive in anyone's community.... Like hey family let's go pick up trash alongside the sewers while it rains to keep it from flooding and blocking the drains... It takes community involvement to execute positive social change ... Try it out can't hurt anything....

This. Song! My brother died in the Fall of 2004. We’d just had the most emo Summer ever, even though he was a little hippie kid. Thursday is a part of that Summer soundtrack. Saw them for the first time at a dive bar in West Chester PA in 2001 and they’ve been my favorite band ever since, seen them more times than I can count. This new song is just as good as the first time I heard them. Amazing 20+ years and counting….plus, mad props to Geoff on his sobriety. Beautiful! Reading about Geoff's friend as the song played had me tearing up, and thinking of a lot of my own long gone friends. Some lost to the wars, some to diseases of addiction, mental health, or respiratory epidemic, some lost through the hands of others' hate. I'm not even 40 yet, but the human loss is stacked as high as I can see. I know more than I can count that can relate to that level of loss. Spread love while you're still here.
