There are so many plot twists and it's extremely satisfying to find out how it ends so many years after the anime. The ending is definitely a shock and I literally cried- it's so worth the read!

You know what I find weird is that SAO and VK, even being entirely different animes in every way, nobody complains about Sugu being in love with Kirito? I've not seen one comment about it at all, even though SAO's idea of a VRMMO was kinda shitty focusing on one person who just all of a sudden becomes the most OP player in the game. I get incest is wrong, but I'm also surprised that VK got hit by these comments more than SAO considering VK was a much better anime. Not even in OST videos does Sugu's love for Kirito get mentioned (or implying incest really) even though one major of those who dislike SAO talk about how literally every girl he travels with (except Yuuki Konno and the Sleeping Knights) falls in love with him. Idk, I'm being nitpicky o.o

Idk why people hate Yuki & Kaname so much?? (spoilers) I love Zero as well, but I'm not going to hate on Yuki for picking Kaname. How did Yuki put Zero through hell? Yuki practically sacrificed her own blood for Zero and not only that, was willing to kill herself for Shizuka in order for Zero to survive. Kaname also saved Yuki from a vampire when Yuki was young so of course Yuki will forever be grateful for that. Kaname also orchestrated EVERYTHING, in order to protect Yuki from Rido who was trying to kill her. The only reason Zero was able to even kill Rido is because of Kaname's plan, a plan that he laid out for over a decade. Again, don't just call Yuki dumb just because she didn't go with the choice you would have gone with. Kaname & Zero are both great and done their own things for Yuki. Yes Kaname is Yuki's brother (even though thats technically not true if you read the manga) besides, that's how the PUREBLOODS stay PUREBLOODS.

I love how most of the comments are people who either didn't read the manga at all, or people who haven't read the new series period bitching about how she didn't choose just one. NEWS FLASH 1) She chose kaname, but he sacrificed himself, she raised Ai pretty much by herself, she and Zero weren't even dating he just chose to stay by her side. Ai even developed feelings for zero! 2) It took yuki almost 100 years to finally decide to start over with zero, and much much longer before they had Ren. 3) Zero was killed trying to save what I'm pretty sure was hinted to have been a vampire child from a human mob 1000 years after the event's of the main series 4) Yuki sacrifices herself 6 months after zero's death because: a) the furnace had been put out and Kaname's heart was too damaged to survive aidou's cure for vampirism. b) She couldn't stand the thought of being without Zero anymore. 5) Kaname's first reaction is to meeting Ai and Ren is adorable, he just immediately pulls them into a hug, also human kaname is a mixture of ichijo and yuki levels of airhead, you need to read memories.

You're right, Yuki is selfish (as a mother and lover). After Zero sacrificed his self for the safety of their unborn child, after Ren grew up, he sacrificed her self to Kaname. Kaname wake up, with no memories, but Ai and Ren were at his side, waiting for him.
