I was concerned about the straps. If they were the regular strapping material than they needed a lot more stitching at the end to prevent fraying. But I think I decided they were actually ribbon. This is absolutely darling! Thank you so much for sharing this.😊

@@milou4753 small scrap fabric pieces sewed to adding machine (not thermal) tape to create yardage that is re-cut into squares/rectangles. Great for saved favorite fabric leftover from projects that are tiny..... Mine are around the size of a half dollar and include leftover scraps from my childhood that my mom saved. Must be in my genes...lol 🍄🍄

I think it might be "Soft & Stable" which is often used for handbags, it's not fusible, that's why the freestyle quilting is a very good option
