Wondering if it would be better to leave the turning hole between two petals of the lining fabric? Might need to start sewing the seam to prevent the fabric ripping during turning but this would put the hand sewing inside the bowl instead of around the edge. These could probably be trendy for crafter/sellers made in neutral colors with something like burlap which because of the holes would need a second layer of broadcloth or whatever. Lose the scallop-edge and tie a jute string around it with some wood beads dangling…. 🤔
