Yeah I totally agree. Has a similar feel to Braille imo. I really like how both BMTH and TAIM (on this EP specifically) did this melodic death style, I actually can't get into a lot of gothencore style bands because the riffs sound too "epic" whereas the way these guys did them just sound straight up evil.

Cannibal Corpse, early Remembering Never, Escape the Fate, and literally 100s of MySpace deathcore bands had the same copy and paste formula. I also don’t take any of this shit serious. Same as a movie I feel most bands did this for shock value or even if they were actually bitter they took there aggression out in music.
