When we talk about low thyroid, there are certain things that can contribute to it. One of the things that can cause low thyroid is the food we eat. Some foods like gluten, dairy, and sugar can increase inflammation in our body and disrupt our thyroid function. So, changing our diet and avoiding these foods can help improve our thyroid condition.
There have been studies that show a positive effect of a gluten-free diet on thyroid function and inflammation. Additionally, excessive consumption of sugar substitutes and coffee can also impact thyroid function. It's important to be aware of these factors and make healthy choices in our diet.

I have hypothyroidism, Sjorgens Syndrome, severe allergies and rheumatoid arthritis. Not one MD mentioned changing my diet with me. I learned to avoid gluten, dairy and sugar on my own and with my naturopath.

lizzk1288, In my experience when someone is so dismissive & all knowing it is very likely that you are dealing with a narcissist, sociopath or psychopath. Those types of people can't be trusted with anything. Find better doctor who cares(an empath) & give them your custom/hard earned money.

Had Hoshimotos, my doctor never discussed my diet with me but he did say he thought I had autoimmune disease. My Functional Medicine practitioner told me to continue my gluten free diet after I determined on my own that I should. My thyroid numbers went from 26 down to 2 after I stopped eating all grains. My Vitamin D levels went up as well.

In 25 years of having an under active thyroid and M.E, my doctor never told me to stop eating wheat. I found out on line. I had a test done privately that said I have intolerance to yeast and dairy. Its been hard to give up these foods because I love cheese and bread. I had been taking vitamin D supplements but still got very low. Thank you for your great channel ❤

Took synthroid for 5 yrs when first dx’d that was 27 yrs ago, stopped when I found it was hashi’s. Too much iodine can also wreak havoc as a naturopath told me to take iodine supplements, my thyroid swelled golf ball size. That was yrs ago. A couple weeks ago I ate too much seaweed and it swelled thyroid nodules so I’m dealing with symptoms. Didn’t know that the overload of iodine in seaweed could cause these problems too.

I was told I had hypothyroidism after I had my third child. I used to Synthroid for almost 20 years and then I moved to another state and was setting up with another doctor to manage my thyroid when I went back to see her a week later after the blood tests, she said, why didn’t you tell me that you had Hashimoto’s? I just said what is that? Went almost 20 years and nobody had ever done an antibody test for me. I’ve also heard that MD’s study about 12 hours nutrition to become a physician so it’s no wonder they don’t discuss it.

None of my 6 doctors for my autoimmune illnesses ever said diet. 10 years struggling for a diagnosis. Now, 10 years past starting grain free, I am still struggling. Just had nutra-eval, my np said my diet was great, but I was low C, lots of others too! I do 2 of your powders a day, and 2 capsules a day! So many nutritional deficiencies of foods that I eat tons of, so, she now wants a gi map... so glad you do at least 2 videos every week, and more, and I am rereading No Grain No Pain. Thank you, God bless you.

Yes and there is some kind of a discount code for first time customers. I really love it and I have shared it with many of my family and friends. It doesn’t have that bitter taste of almost all other processed coffee that I’ve ever used. And you can buy it with no cad, 1/3 caff or special blends to support the liver and gut. I had really given up coffee for a time because it was messing with my digestion. So I was delighted to find this one. Hope that helps!

Naturopath Dr put me on T4 only and I gained 20 lbs and felt suicidal. He then said having Hashimotos, i cant convert T4 to T3🤯. I took Dr Osborne's food sensitibity test to him and he said it wasnt necessary. I started on T3 only on my own and feel better. Dr also said its ok to eat rice, corn, other grains. Just not gluten. He said not to eat beef. He said just take a vacation. When stress really is one of the main causes of me having a thyroid storm.
