it's much easier to use, if you quit stat, and enter again to 3.StatVars and then select the variable pressing enter and the you will see it in the main screen and can be used for later calculations like squaring for variance, or for coefficient of variation, etc

Is there a way we can calculate Mean Absolute Deviation using the TI-30XS?

I’m not sure what you mean by that term. The standard deviation squares the differences and at the end takes the square root. That process essentially gives you an absolute distance. Can you post a visual of the formula you’re talking about?

If you can enter the numbers in the list, I’m sure there’s a sort feature. Unfortunately I had borrowed a students calculator to make that video, and because of the pandemic I don’t have access to it now. Good luck finding that option. Sorry I can’t help.

Hi, I don’t think you can. I kept meaning to go and look to see if there is a way to get more information but keep forgetting. I don’t believe it’s a built-in function on this calculator.
