Hugely high quality video instruction, but using this feature, I think, is more trouble than it's worth. My way of doing this would be to store a value for n or x, then enter the right side of the equation. Boom. Done. A lot fewer keystrokes involved.

Thanks heaps for this. I have two different books on this calculator and neither covers this aspect of sequences! Wrt the high pitched noises that occur when you stress a syllable-they're painful with earbuds (and don't sound great on my mac speakers either). I would suggest getting a shield for you mic so syllables with sudden air movements don't cause that effect.
