Thank you very much for uploading the clip. I spent a part of my formative years there. It brought back all the memories. I could still vividly recognise many places, if not all. It was not particularly a great part of my life that I fondly remember. As such, I have never visited there ever since. However, watching the footage, it made me feel like visiting there again. Time heals everything, it seem.

I certainly agree wit you! Three-quarters of century passed since the end of the (terrible) war; I was appalled to learn the Negishi Heights remains in decay to this day. What I saw in the Hiroshima Memorial in 2019, (my second visit) returns to my mind: There was a display of the 'Paper Crane,' a symbolic gift from President Obama when he spent time there in May 2016. Things changes, some takes time, some fairly quickly. I do wonder how long it takes to clear those sites that are related to the US Military activities disappear from Japan, particular in Okinawa.
