I agree, but this is what make us the exclusive listeners. I hate new-mainstream music, nothing I repeat nothing will touch trance music at its peak and Tiesto at its peak. That music takes you to the next better place, you feel the energy, more alive, like nothing could touch you.

Same. He wrote this after his gig in 2001 when we came to Dallas to play at the first Zen Festival. I will never forget that show it was his debut in Texas. This song will forever mean a lot to me.

⁠@@5.31am7I was at that party. When he played ‘Silence’ you hear a million people who are rolling singing along to the part where it breaks down and it’s just Sarah’s vocal. I had the flyer from that for the longest time. I want to say that Robert Miles was at that party too along with a decent drum and bass lineup but unfortunate i wasn’t really into drum and bass at that point yet. That was a cool time. That was Tiesto’s first US festival.

I always wondered if this song has anything to do with his first ever festival appearance ever in the U.S at the first Zen Festival in Dallas/Ft Worth area. I saw him, he was playing "Blood Is Pumping by Voodoo and Serano many months before it came out on vinyl. When I heard that song, it was the biggest feeling or thought in my head screaming "now this is a fuckin rave!!!" i literally walked in the crowd sober as fuck and my hair was standing up because of the energy and love in that crowd, it was like a dream. and when that song came on, it was ....SO...TECHNO! and when it did I wasn't sober anymore either

If Dennis Wakoop is so f00king great making all Tiesto hits why there is nothing great under Wakoop Rijers or his 5-6 other aliases that no one heard of ? There maybe was a collaboration, that doesn’t mean guy is responsible for Tiesto s hits . Same thing with Beno and Armin . But I guess rumours are more interesting than the truth . Fact is Tiesto in the early 2000 s was a master who produced masterpieces

​@@SuperOrbion He did produce most of Tiesto's tracks, including this one, I also think it's unfair to say He hasn't released anything good under his own alias. No one has heard of him because he isn't a DJ and never wanted the fame, Waakop Reijers has always been in it for the music unlike Tijs (Tiesto). This track is mentioned on Dennis Waakop Reijers site along with like 300 other Tiesto tracks/remixes.

@@SuperOrbionidk man. I’ve been reading a bit about him using Dennis mainly in the start of his career. It makes sense as to why his sound changed if he actually started making the music himself later. I imagine he can’t actually write that style of trance himself. As far as why you don’t see stuff under Dennis’ name it may be that he is the type that likes what he does but doesn’t like the spotlight. Me personally I want to hear from the man who made the music. Not the guy who paid to slap their name on it.
