Hi Tia! This was kind of sad when you told us about the medication and that you would like to have someone who can support you in some situations. I'm sending a hug! (or is that weird)? I was wondering if there are any advisors or an international student office that you can ask about those matters because at my college we have that and they can help with mostly anything.

Great blog. You’ve come along-way. Just some advice: You don’t need the face covering “outdoors” if fully vaccinated in The USA, per CDC. Naturally, fresh air is very safe. Unless, the outdoor setting is very crowded. It’s only masks indoors for COVId.

yes I did get a tablet ahead of this academic year! it was an investment, and definitely not an essential, but if getting a tablet is accessible for you: yes I do recommend. it has made my life and study much more efficient, is so easy to take when travelling to meets, and keeps all my work organised. I don't have to buy data for it, I just connect to wifi when available
