This song is from my debut album Itaya Nüngo released in 2013 and is based on my encounter with a young blind man during my high school days. Despite his blindness, the young man's perspective toward life, and his earnest desire and hope for an eternal 'sight' left a very deep and emotional impression upon me. The song was composed many years after our meeting.
