You’re making a massive mistake going for that kind of a driver this early. You’re going to have to spend 20 million over the next season to keep them. That amount of money would be a game changer for your facilities and development. And it’s going to only make a marginal upgrade in race performance. You put Ricciardo in your current car and he’s still outside the points.

Can't believe I've been watching your content since F1 2011...wow, you've been killing the uploads as of late, great job! I don't think you're giving Mick enough credit. Statistically he's the slowest guy on the grid and your race pace is really good, I feel if his stats equaled his competitors he'd have scored points by now, his lack of stats is what's really hindering him. That said it's a good situation the game's put you in, do you spend more time and money bringing him upto par or just replace him with someone who's already got the stats, the levels of depth these new games have really is an achievement.

Top notch driving! The timing of those passes right before the chicane entry, a thing of beauty and so crucial to keeping the pace up. The car looks really good and bodes well for a crack at the top 6 in the manufacturer's series for season two. In regards to whom you might choose as a teammate for season two, the obvious sentimental choice would be Lando Norris. The added bonus is Lando is actually competitive and might be agreeable to a reasonable contract sum. If not Lando Norris, then I'd go with Sergio Perez, as he has been absolutely fierce all season and would be a great addition to the team. Well done, best race of the day!

Lewis also won his 7th title in my first season. I’m 3 races in Season 2 and he’s failed to score a single point yet. Australia🇦🇺 he finished P14, Bahrain🇧🇭 he finished P12 and in Vietnam🇻🇳 he DNF by crashing his car on one of the long straights all on his own.

Ben you will need to upgrade the simulator (personnel dep) to sign a current driver. I saved for Norris or Russel but neither would sign as my personnel hadn't been upgraded. They both required lvl 1 so I would expect higher rated drivers require a higher level in some departments. Please don't make the same mistake I did and think I could sign the drivers if I had the cash and acclaim :( Hope you do somehow see this post!

Nah, getting someone with a lot of experience would boost your rnd points and therefore you had more points to upgrade the car and get better results, better sponsorships and get a bigger bonus at the end of the season. Just don’t go for the most expensive. Kimi would be the best bet.

I have to disagree, the first season was the time to get a cheap driver and be selfish, focusing solely on the car development and facilities. To be fair Ben has managed to build a good car and signing a competitive driver for the second season will actually benefit the team's performance, revenue and development points. I had said the exact same thing early on in the season and sure enough it has played out just as I expected.

SB2 for building a car the best drivers would be the ones with high experience points like Raikkonen and Grosjean( shit in real life but his experience stats are way off in my opinion but it’s a game). These drivers will bring in mass amounts of resources points and then after building a decent package usually in the second or third season then it’s time to buy the driver with good pace and work the other abilities.

The training facility for your teammate increase each stats by 20 maximum if fully upgraded but your teammate stats can't go over 100. (If he have 84 in exp and the facility is fully upgraded he will get a bonus of +16 and not +20). So I think it’s better to choose a teammate who already have at least 80 in each stats, and if I remember correctly Ricciardo and Perez are the best options. Check the bonus goal with the principal contract, the bonus increase with the team level, if at the begenning was 3-4 mill for the season goal, now could be 6-7mill at the end of the season!!

I think the best bet for your 2nd driver is whoever is the most experienced. The more experience they have more RND points you get. You can always improve them with the spare time between races but EXP is hard to train.

Danny Ric! Iv had both Danny and Lando. Lando Did okay but wasn’t consistent, once I got Danny he was amazing from the start and you can sign Lando later on once he has better experience.
