It’s a beautiful bag! I hope you returned it though to get one that didn’t have those imperfections. It’s too expensive for them to sell in less than favorable conditions. I went through this twice with them last month and wasn’t happy 😢

I love the bag but I would return it and ask for a new one! You know what I get so scared of is..there are so many of these “super fakes” that is being produced and they return back even to the actual place once they buy the real one. I don’t know how true it is but a friend from China told me there are groups where they buy the real stuff and copy exactly and send it back. What if they send the copies one 😭 my friend said that because of that she doesn’t buy anything in China and even certain US shops! Am I just the only one concerned about fakes in the market?! 🤔😱

Hello Tiana, thank you very much for sharing your first impressions on this lv bag. I m contemplating buying it, but I need to collect info and do some research beforehand, so your review was very helpful. I didn't buy the Metis, because I found it too big, so this size looks definitely more suitable. I was not impressed with the quality issues of the particular piece you were showing, so I'll have to go to the lv boutique here in London to check the bag in person, something that these days I dislike, but at at price point there are no excuses, it must be properly made. And no, it is not worth the money, however I have noticed that also the Gucci horsebit cross body bag in canvas is over 2k , so there we go.

Definitely need to return the bag and get a new one. I think it was a return and the other person also seen those flaws you did. There’s no way LV would have packaged it like that. The different colour golds is weird and would be annoying!

Thank you so much for that very honest review. I was about to buy this bag, but you are right, it really is not worth it. In the US is about $3,100-3,200 due to taxes depending where you leave, and that's a lot of money. Also, what's going on with all the flaws LV???

You got a returned bag. Ordered placed online are famous for receiving returns. You should exchange it for one that isn’t so beat down. The side opening is messed up because of the way it was packed and the front flap is absolutely crooked. You’re not nitpicking. It’s a lot of money and you deserve to have a proper bag. You paid for it.

Think the defects on this means it needs to be returned. I would not be happy with it. As a bag I love it though. I have the monogram Pouchette Metis already so I wouldn't buy it. However, if they brought it out in empreinte leather for eg then that might make it more interesting to me. However the price would then go up more so maybe not! Think it would be cute in a bright colour.

LV bags, for example my MWT speedy (a later purchase) have none matching gold hardware as well, the d ring is more a lighter and brushed gold while the hardware on the straps are def more orange and shiny. Not sure why LV is very inconsistent nowadays. My earlier LVs which I still have from decades ago, I never noticed the difference in gold color and I look at them now, they are the same hue but I wonder if it just turns and catch up over time, lol. Love the E/W btw.

I have one and I absolutely love 💕 but that one is not of good condition and you should return it since it looks like it was a return. But it is still a beautiful bag and maybe get another one in brand new condition.

Hi lovely, I’m so glad it did!.. Oh, and no worries about it being a fake as I bought it directly from store many years ago. They’ve just changed the strap over time so on the newer models they only have 5 holes and the older ones have 7 ☺️❤️
