That was painful to watch. Tianjin has almost an allstar lineup but failed to capitalize. I like Yao Di but her setting for Li YingYing was brutal. The sets were either to much inside for a lefty or behind her. On a positive note Yuan was just a beast blocking. Tianjin should have won that match as they did in the 2nd set.

Van Martin if it’s a young player, then it’s most likely Diao Linyu but then she’s still far from Ding Xia but better performance than Yao Di. If it’s not young it should be Wei Qiu Yue

u right.. Ding Xia seem a lot better in sight and move. she set ball sharper, quicker and right for spiker. and she have some powerful move to attack too. and its I think setter is the second importance position after spiker in a team. Its sad that China getting down these recent year.

I think it should be relatively an easy job to be the setter of a team with Zhu Ting and Yuan Xinyue, you are not required to be skilful, You just set the ball stable and high, you just let Zhu and Yuan finish the job. But Yao Di should have failed such an easy job! Yao Di just wanted to show she can enable every attacker score, not only Zhuting, she wanted to show she can set the ball very fast. But the truth is she just can't, all the balls she sets is too low and too close to the net!

A really good wake up call for Chinese volleyball league. The achievement of the national team created the illusion that the Chinese league may also be world level which it is far behind. At this level of performance, team China easily drop out of top 8 after coach Lang Ping and Zhu Ting.

Really it's noticeable that there's a big gap between players from national team and the those from chinese league. I think that the only solution is the chinese teams strengthen more its squads with top players from another countries.

So English is not that big problem. the reasons are they dont strong enough at tactic, setter, spiking, blocking. dont get me wrong. Chinese national team is top world class when they combine their best player. but at club they seem weak even with Zhu Ting.

What a shame for tianjin. Novara is a strong team, but not the superstar champion team like last year. All tianjin need to do is to pass the ball to the right position and high enough for Zhu Ting to spike. And they cannot get that basic job done.

David Bovo last year was a different team. They are national team players, but not front line players. Etc Serbia’s opposite is Boskovic, middle is Rasic. Italy’s best middle is Anna Danesi, cortney is barely a libro in USA. Besides superstar Egonu is gone, novara this year is a lot weaker.

1）接應胡克爾被打回原形。全場23扣4中，成功率17%。當打之年大殺四方的胡克爾早已不在。年過30的她英雄迟暮，在國內聯賽进攻已显疲软，碰到強隊更是处境尷尬。沒有強攻，還不接一傳，這樣的雞肋接應，天津女排還是趕緊換掉，不要對她抱有什麼幻想了。 2）李盈瑩的一傳幾乎處於崩潰的邊緣，這直接影響到她的進攻效率。本場比賽李盈瑩接一傳次數17次，失誤兩次，到位率只有5.88%，一傳幾乎崩潰了。 得到和朱婷一樣的最高分20分，進攻55扣16中，失誤被攔一共9次，2個發球得分，2個攔網得分，扣球成功率為29%，效率15.8%。但因為天津女排的一傳質量太差，接應胡克爾就是個擺設，副攻也沒有球，全場只有四號位一點攻，而且多是调整攻面对意大利球队成熟拦防体系，再加姚大美女传出来的球没一个舒服的。打出这么难看数据，不能全怪李盈瑩。 3）袁心玥個人能力突出，可惜無用武之地。本場比賽後三局，天津女排一傳幾乎崩潰，二傳無法給副攻組織快攻，袁心玥只能望球興嘆。但全场攔網得到7分算表现及格。 4）二傳姚迪難堪大任。面對幾乎崩潰的一傳，指望二傳起死回生，確實也難。但是二傳姚迪場上的表現確實也難言優秀，传球线路呆板单调，给攻手喂球要么太扎网，要么太远网，要么位置太低，没几个舒服的，失误频频，防守也慢半拍。

Did you really watch the game? Zhu is the best in both defence and offence of this game! No one other than Zhuting can receive the serves well. She even played as a Libro for a long period of time this game, which is ridiculous! When you have world best attacker in your team but you used her as a defender, you can never win and the coach should step down
