Hi Tia, I've recently discovered your videos and I thank you. Especially for this one. I have been having symptoms of something. I have had a cough for over a month and I have no illness. My voice is really raspy, I have fevers and chills. Neck and chest pain. Lost 15 pounds. Put some back on, night sweats and day sweats. Shortness of breath. Have had these issues for almost a year now. My doctor told me that it was all fibromyalgia. And depression and anxiety. Got a new doc who is taking notice and an amazing oncologist who is testing me for everything under the sun. I am so grateful for your videos. Same thing happened to me except I was diagnosed with Systemic Mastocytosis (blood, bone marrow, organ, mast cell disease not cancer/leukemia so your journey is way worse) But I came down with flu like symptoms at 16 (active played sports) had no energy went to the ER several times and had a doctor visit every week basically because I was still not feeling good and couldn’t go to school. I had to beg my doctor after about 2 months or so to send me to an immunologist. The first thing the immunologist questioned was my Mastocytosis (I had cutaneous Mastocytosis from birth a rare skin disease very rare at birth and very rare to progress into adulthood/develop into systemic Mastocytosis). I was then referred to an immunologist to confirm it was systemic Mastocytosis and rule out leukemia/mast cell leukemia. It is crazy how long you can be sick before doctors do something or you have to beg for next steps. I’m not dealing with near what you are dealing with but systemic Mastocytosis doesn’t have a cure or set treatment it is basically treating symptoms as best as possible (which doesn’t always work as I have found being up and down the past 3 years and far from find a good regiment) but definitely not life threatening and seeing people like you and stories like you remind me of how worse it could be and remind me to be thankful.

So I’ve been a huge fan of yours on TikTok since you first started .. for the past month or so I’ve been getting random fevers that would last weeks and then a few weeks ago I began getting severe lower left side flank back pain and pelvis /abdomen pain that wouldn’t go away and only was getting worse so I went to the ER .. they did an ultrasound and CT scan w/contrast gave me antibiotics and said I had a possible pelvic infection but they also saw a small mass on my lower left kidney and I needed to see a urologist.. I was referred and they did a specific kidney ultrasound where they found out the mass is most likely cancerous and now I have to schedule a biopsy within the next few weeks ... your videos give me so much hope and belief that I will , and can over come this and or anything I come into contact with in my life .. your truly the most amazingly beautiful, strong woman and I would be lost right now without you and your content . I just turned 30 and my son is only 12 .. I pray constantly that I can fight this and make it through for my family .. thank you for all your positive vibes you put out and sharing your story .. Do your doctors think that the black mold that you had in your house had anything to do with your diagnosis?
@shaunarising59344 жыл бұрын
Angelica Savage I’ve done a lot of research on black mold. From what I understand the mold exposure would not have “caused” or triggered leukemia. However, someone that has leukemia (or another illness: other cancers, Lyme disease/other infections, autoimmune conditions - these all tax the immune system over time) would react much more severely to the presence of the mold compared to a immunocompetent person. The mold would also make it incredibly difficult to get better.

You should look up @veecrowfoot on Instagram. Her daughter Hazel JUST finished her maintenance Chemo after fighting Leukemia for 2.5 years. She documented Hazel’s journey. She also has a KZbin channel. I think she is private now on Instagram so just request to follow and send her a DM.
