I'd love to see you take on more of the "lower power" uncommon commander options which have less obvious power. Mythics are fun and powerful, but off-meta commanders help promote more deck diversity. Killian was a great example, I'd love to see more of that.

It's difficult to find mechanically unique Uncommons that aren't just worse versions of some Rare or Mythic. Many Uncommons were made to support a small theme in Limited, which doesn't translate well into 100-card formats. People also need to vote for them once they appear in the Patreon poll.

@@LegenVD Whisper, Blood Liturgist is an interesting option for a lower power reanimator commander imo, that never see use. But again, it has to be voted upon, but people seem to forget the dominaria commander options a lot

@@LegenVD I don't disagree with you, there are plenty of Uncommons that are worse versions of rare or mythic, but there are lots of playable Uncommons that could be considered. For example: Rootha, Mercurial Artist Raff Capashen, Ships Mage Dina, Soul Steeper Gretchen Titchwillow Shanna, Sissy's Legacy Anax, Hardened in the Forge Siona, Captain of the Pyleas Slimefoot the Stowaway Vega, the Watcher Sure Carah, the Bold And plenty more.

The last game was a masterful change of pace of the deck. You knew that given the match up you needed to apply more pressure and went for two mana valki, really a great showing.

VD played on curve, mostly, incidentally going for a snipe on some cheap legend that opponent *should* have been playing instead of the very odd no-plan stuff he was on. VD could not have predicted that opponent would gain 10 life and otherwise just get their face bashed for 8 turns. Notice VD ended the game still holding half the removal he talked up using as he played the Tibalt to discover that was nothing at all to remove over there.

IMO the term Reach should be changed into Detect or Aim instead for flavor sake. Because even though many big creatures whose height as depicted clearly "reaches" flying altitude, they still can't block a mere bird. Some argue that Reach is depicted as long range attacks that can "reach" flying altitude such as arrows. Yet small creatures like Lolth's spider can also block birds. With Detect or Aim as a term, it's still makes sense to depict "a small archer can block Fliers, but big fatty creatures cannot". Because it implies the big creatures is too slow to block the flying creatures, or too big to see them.

Fun fact in match 2 when you debated duress vs Tibalt they wouldn't have had an answer for him. You would've had the Borrowed Time exiled and use it yourself. But that's all a luck of the draw type of thing. Love the deck!!!

Love how a DFC commander foils the "Curse of Silence ALWAYS hits in Brawl!" logic. [19:33] Wooah, I guess most commander players know about it already, but cool that Fires helps dodge commander getting priced out of reach - everything BUT commander tax I guess but that's a lot when it's a 7 mana commander. Wash Away should probably be in every Blue Brawl deck, but Price of Fame doesn't always work out vs non-creature commanders and isn't as reliable as other 2 mana options vs non-commanders. I used to include it more often, but it's still good for draw-go control decks. This one is more of a tapout control deck where the instant speed is less important.
