Tibetan Dance/Gorshay Nyima Sharne shar. ཉི་མ་ཤར་ནས་ཤར།

Tibetan Gorshay/ Tibetan circle dance is a traditional Tibetan dance performed together in circles. It is through such celebrations of dance and music, the elders and youngsters come together to rejoice in a culture that’s core to their identity. Tibetan dance is said to be connected to earth, where stomping and foot work plays huge role. Traditional Tibetan dance is not about flying high or raising your chest. It is about connecting to earth.

This is so true. My late father who had a great influenced in my childhood learning Tibetan dance with my family taught me not to raise too high but at our shoulder level. Of course there are few where we have to but not all the time.

hi Youdon recently i was wondering anyone tutoring tibetan gorshe steps . In the begining i thought its step by step anyways you dance very elegantly . Just an suggestion if you can show audiences step by step of the main chorus. Gorshe s repeatition of main chorus steps. It would help people who need more detailed instructions.
