This is the best video I’ve ever seen. Even though I don’t understand the language and the lyrics of the songs, I enjoy the rhythm of the music and the harmonic atmosphere of this event. I admire Tibetan people who are so determined to keep their beautiful culture up to these days. Tibetan women are all beautiful. I give my two thumbs-up to this joyful Losar celebration.

Pure Tibetan Language ? learn to appreciate different dialects of Tibetan (that's comprises 2.5 million square of km of ethno-cultural landmass). one dialect considered as the Lingua franca/Superior and other labelled as an Inferior/Other will hinder the unity.

@@emptiness4141 There is nothing to be jealous about. Tibetan should speak pure Tibetan but it can be any Tibetan dialect. Being Tibetan, one should love every Tibetan dialect equally and not discriminate since each dialect adds to the richness of Tibetan language. The person you are replying to probably misinterpreted the original commenter as it not uncommon to see some good for nothing mocking Tibetans speaking other dialect that they don’t understand or speak.

@@Bzdm0 it depends .you can't understand the talk between two young Tibetan Chinese who received good education in China .because there are too many Chinese words ,10%~20%, are mixed in their Tibetan .this situation is same to Japanese (with 20~50% Chinese words in it ) and Korean (60~70% Chinese words in it ).for example they know if they use same Chinese idioms they can express themselves better ,of course the listener can grab the meaning soon, sometimes even they want to express the same meaning in Tibetan but there no such accurate expression in Tibetan .can you understand what does 不胜枚举 (but sheng mei ju)mean ?the Japanese and Korean can understand these Chinese words, Tibetan Chinese who finished college in China can understand these words also.

Chinese are not han,Chinese are a group of eastern Asian people ,listen to what the American call us ,they call tibetan Korean Japanese mogolian vietnamese han miao hui dongxiang yi manchu ...etc.all as CHINESE! of course tibetan are Chinese .tibetan language's grammar is close with Japanese language's grammar and ancient Chinese grammar ,because tibetan and Japanese all were ancient Chinese from inland china . @@malorybertie8046 By that logic you are not Chinese, you are Africans since the first humans were Africans. All of humanity had common ancestor does mean they are the same. Cultures evolve and take different shape. Current Tibetan language and culture bears little to no resemblance to the Chinese culture. In America, people from Korea, CHina, Japan are referred as “ASIANS” or specifically “EAST ASAINS” and not as “Chinese” as you claim. Korean, China, Japan, Tibet are different ethnicities. As for the Han not being a monolith, Tibetans are also not a monolith. Indigenous TIbetan land is huge and the spoken Tibetan language varies greatly depending on the region. There even Tibetans who speak drastically different language (that don’t even sound Tibetan) usually limited to small regions. Our Clothing and jewelry also has amany regional variation. TIbetan is a huge ethnic umbrella that can’t be understood by outsiders with only little exposure to Tibet.

@@malorybertie8046 That how it should be since it’s indigenous Tibetan land and Tibetans own it. However, Hans do settle in Tibet and it is steadily growing with them making 12.2% of TAR population up by 4% from 8% in 2010. Illiteracy in TAR according to official 2021 census is the highest among all provinces at 34.27%. The per-capital income in Tibet according to 2021 census is 24,949.9 which is about $3,657.49/year which is okay but not something major to brag about. As for independence, that depends on the CCP’s attitude. If the CCP takes appropriate actions and prevent exacerbating mistrust then more Tibetan will be ready to compromise. How do you do that? Give real “autonomy” where Tibetans elect their own Tibetan leader and not a person not indigenous to Tibet calling the shots. Tibet’s being autonomous only in name shows mistrust towards Tibetans. Doing things like arresting and jailing Tibetan for things like doing environmental activism, people trying to exercise rights written in the constitution by going to the court to get a Tibetan language school where they live or having super vague laws and using the vagueness intentionally to incarcerate people because of their ideas and thought not aligning with yours isn’t going to help. I get this feeling that you think Tibetans living outside are completely ambiguous to trends in Tibet. So if you think that, let me break it to you that it’s not the case. Trends in Tibet are known well as most Tibetans living outside Tibet. They aren’t not always uploaded here but usually circulated within inner social media circles. Everything from WeChat lady rant to former news anchor accusing supposed “Tibetan” husband of DV, on a lighter note pop-culture is circulated within those circle. Awareness depends on the individual’s involvement in these circles.
