I don’t agree with u.. The population of Tibetan living in places like Darjeeling Kalimpong Sikkim ect is smallest compared to Tibetan settlement like Mundgod Bylakup Bir Himachal..Still Darjeeling Kalimpong Sikkim produce more Doctors,Police officers,Judges,Income Tax officers,Bank Managers n other high post in Indian Govt Jobs.Even if some go to USA they go there thru TOFEL n IELTS exams.My little sis is studying Psychiatrist in USA I didn’t spend single money.This is beacuse parent in Darjeeling Sikkim Kalimpong send their kids to competitive English schools.They don’t waste building 1Cr houses n 15L cars to impress their neighbour like in Mundgod Bylakuppe Bir Himachal Tibetan settlement.If the Parents don’t believe in their Kids than who else will.N they send their kids to Sombata school beacuse it’s free not beacuse they r in love with their culture.

Darjeeling kalimpong sikkim tibetan many of them have indian and sikkimis citizenship ship bro, so thats why there children become a doctor etc. lack of tibetan culture but on side of south indian tibetan settlement they are holder of RC book and there student doing job in tibetan govt in dharamsala. This is the differences,

During LS time he stopped giving transfer certificate to those who want to go other school just to safe the school but after pt arrival, he started giving tc to all who want cos his aim is to close school. Opening is very hard but closing is easiest. Nalayak sikyong is always ready to do bad things 😢. Unfortunate Tibetans and letong voters 😢

The reason is this: if you send your children to Tibetan schools, they learn to speak good Tibetan and learn how to read and write in Tibetan language. This is not the case if they attend English medium schools! There is no provision to teach Tibetan in Indian schools! The other important aspect is; by attending Tibetan schools, the children learn things that has to do with Tibetan such as prayers and religious aspect of Tibetan life and they pick up a Tibetan outlook at the world and get attuned to the Tibetan way of life (བོད་མིའི་གོམས་གཤིས་)་ Those who attend English medium schools get either an Indian or Western way of looking at life and often they lose their Tibetan-ness and even convert to other religions since most English medium schools teach their religious values in their syllables! Through my experience, some Tibetan children have been lost in this way. Those Tibetan children who have been brought up in the English medium schools not only can’t speak Tibetan but they lose some of their Tibetan identity. I have had this experience with my own siblings! So, choose the FUTURE OF YOUR CHILD PROPERLY! If you want your child to be brought up as a Tibetan with Tibetan mannerisms, send them to Tibetan schools whether CST or TCV or whatever. If you want a half-baked Tibetan, you can do whatever you like! འདི་ཉམས་མྱོང་དང་འབྲེལ་བའི་འབོད་བསྐུལ་ཡིན་ནོ།།
