I think the 6 would be better on Victoria gold fields where pretty much only little gold is left. But does make you wonder how one would go only targeting big slugs. Would go weeks on months without finding anything and digging deep rubbish but will how much will that nugget weigh when it finally comes??

Yes, you tend to lose enthusiasm when you don't find anything day after day. Even finding micro bits keeps you going. That's where the 6000 has the edge..

Sì, i migliori metal detector per trovare l'oro in Australia sono quelli molto costosi, naturalmente, (marca Minelab). Sì, è necessario un piccone. I migliori stati in Australia per trovare l'oro sono Western Australia, Victoria e Queensland.... ma non è più facile perché qui ci sono troppi operatori di metal detectors...

Joe, you could've doubled that take if you had a big CC coil on your 7000. X coils transform the GPZ. New GPZ coming next year, so save your $$.

@@joc1862 there's a guy named Dave Gibb who makes up the GPZ adapters professionally. He's done hundreds of them. The GPZ8 is due out next year. Several field testers have been trailing them for months now. Exactly what month in 2023 is up to Minelab lol

@@joc1862 It depends on how long you can wait. An adapter and X coil/s could add a lot of value to your 7000 as a used detector, when you buy the new GPZ. You could find a lot of gold in the months/year in the meantime...
