This isn't about men beating women. It goes both ways. Everyone is frustrated if their minds aren't wired right. I know a girl as soon as the lockdown happened, she started beating on her boyfriend out of frustration. You'd hear the door slamming all night long, the kids crying and screaming to the top of their lungs...and you could hear the guy trying to walk away several times during these arguments...it was a mess...sounded like a herd of buffalo in their living room some nights. The dude left her. The noise has since been reduced. NO ONE deserves that...man or woman.

Thanks Vic. I survived 26 years of it! Back then in the beginning there was no law against a husband beating a wife and no shelters. I finally escaped and found a WONDERFUL man I have been with for 18 years! God bless him! But unless you have been the victim you really don't fully understand how hard it is to leave, especially if you have children, no close family or friends to help you, or if you don't have enough financial means or a good job to make it on your own. The court system sucks.

I would definately say ive seen a large number of false abuse cases, just two days ago we had a female spouse that called the police while she slapped herself crying "stop hitting me". While we were filing the report on scene the husband showed us the hidden cam footage that she didnt know about.

@FUCK GOOGLE currently 35% in my county, those are the ones where evidence to show it is false. Unsubstantiated claims are another 40%, 25% is a solid case of abuse. Check into what women call "the silver bullet" its used all the time in family courts to get an instant upper hand. Makes our jobs tougher than hell dumping so much time and resources because a spouse wants to be vengeful.

Sadly, many people buy into the idea that violence can only be defeated with greater violence. As long as kids grow up being taught that violence is an acceptable response to another person's wrongdoings, it will remain as a viable tool in the "response toolbox" as that individual grows older. This doesn't mean that people can't defend themselves and stop further or increased violence, but for many people, their response is disproportionate to the original offense - self control seems to go out the window when people get jacked up on adrenaline. If humans really want to evolve, they'll need to let go of that ego-driven fear reaction which pushes them to go way beyond what's appropriate.

Local law enforcement, and investigators whom I know can confirm that the amount of female perpetrators who attack their unsuspecting intimate partners is jarring. It's just as many if not more who walk away with the silver custom bracelets each and every day for inciting a violent attack against bf or husband . Their reasons stem from he was ignoring me, all the way up to he didn't want to be with me anymore. The abuse men are subject to is often whitewashed, and they don't report it due to the stigma of being viewed as less masculine.

I had to spend years fighting (& am still fighting) & had cops tell me that if family court was involved at all (I have restraining orders) that the cops wouldn't do anything or threats were not "specific enough"... it's sad

Thanks for this message. Needs to be said and that’s f’d up. I intervened in a situation where he was beating her when I was younger. Back then we didn’t call the cops, we just handled it. He got what he deserved and they are divorced today. She remarried with 3 great kids from her 2nd husband. None from her 1st. I am with you 100% on this and I stopped 1 from ever happening. I would add family pets with women and children. Dogs get kicked by many I’m sure. If I see anything like this, I will step in again.

I had to leave my wife because of her domestic violence towards myself and son. Just remember the door swings both way's. I never fought back, because if I did I would not be commenting now. I deplore any type of violence towards anybody. But the fact remains that domestic violence is a 2 way street. A lot of men don't call police or tell people about it because they don't want to seem weak or perhaps no one will believe them. A man can be charged with domestic violence without a shred of evidence. Yet if a man complains or tells police about being in a violent relationship they will not take any steps to follow threw with your complaint. An even if you have evidence of this taking place there is a 1% chance of it ever resulting in a charge against your partner.

People do not "choose" to be abused. They are groomed, gaslit, and slowly trapped into abusive relationships. Saying shit like this makes it harder for victims to seek help. So don't.

@@Uruth1995 you are right, some victims are groomed, but majority of victims seek for that kind of relationship unknowingly. Life with "good" guys is not exiting enough for them, simple as that. It is hard to undo peoples psychology who grew up in abusive environment. It takes years to recover from it and to decide to live a different kind of life. Some change, but majority goes back to the vicious circle. It's like giving up cigarettes or alcohol, you know it harms but you still keep doing it. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be mean, I'm just saying what reality is. Education is the key of course, that is the only way to brake the cycle.

Hello Vic from Australia. I look forward to seeing what ticks you off. Domestic violence is so bad and sad. Yes the person doing the mental or physical violence should be beaten up their selves. Your so right. Thank you for talking about this issue. I myself spent 4 years with physical and mental abuse and it still gets to me after 20 years later. It leaves deep scars but can't be healed. I still worry that one day he's going to turn up and do something bad to me, even though it's that many years later. So thank for you for your video clips.
