Think my best concert experiences always come either from shows where I get to interact with the artist (hi Ben, thank you for the pick last year, still treasure it!) or if I go to a gig where I don´t know what to expect. Going to a concert where I listen to the band just very casually and I go just because I feel like going to any gig, it left me with unforgettable memories. Avatar this year utterly blew my mind since I went into them basically blind and also quite a few pre act bands were absolutely incredible for me, surprising me so much with their music and presentation (Solence at the latest The HU concert for example). I think I spend way too much money on concerts each year but it´s where I feel so alive and happy, so of course I will keep going to as many as I can

Yes Nat, you have to film everything (don't ask the guys for permission)! One of my best concert memories was actually my first one - a festival in my hometown. I was 10 years old and my Mom and I could walk to the venue and watch superstars like Elton John, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker and many more. And later I had the opportunity to watch The Prodigy at a festival from the side of the stage! But i've been to so many shows and have a lot of good memories!

Some of the best memories I have from gigs are the times I’m standing front row to see a band I’ve been to before. Especially with smaller bands, some of the members recognise me. It feels great to be appreciated by the artists I like so much!!

Another great epsiode! I have quite a few great concert memories, but the one I'll drop is getting to hear BRAND NEW songs played live from an album that was only weeks away from being released. I'll never forget that feeling, especially since I still get down with the song! Keeping my eyes open for a DB vinyl #jussayin and cant wait for the new single!

Honestly, I was hoping for an EP release date announcement, but the news you gave actually got me equally hyped! Nat and I must say than my fav band is the most Human and kind musicians they helped me to go in the concert when I was in troubles. So for ever I will love TSOM❤

To Vinnie’s point about the economics of touring…know that just the tour bus is $1500 a day, I’m happy to pay $200 to see a band as long as the band is getting an appropriate portion of the money. A great example of how risky touring can be was experienced by TSOM back when Vision Thing was released. I remember Andrew saying he was $500k in debt mostly because of the problems on the American leg.

TicketMaster aren't interested in fans. The band themselves have no say after they signed a contract for the tour advance. Liam Gallagher hasn't heard of dynamic ticket pricing let alone insist on it. Liam has publicly said 2 weeks ago, hes not allowed to say publicly his true opinions. They were offered an advance upfront payable before the tickets went on sale. £XXMIllion. The contract hands over the promotion, marketing, ticketing and tour logistics to other entities like TicketWankers, SJM, management etc Gigs today as you all know is where money is in the industry. Oh, ticket prices in music business, interesting topic. I could talk about this a lot, but it would be too much writing here 😂 So in short: I’m very thankful for my favourite bands, who never costs more than 50 €. Most of them are ~30 €, which gives me a lot more the possibility to visit a concert of them. And there’s nothing like "Golden Circle" Tickets. Also something really special for me was, that The Rasmus did Meet&Greets on their tour in 2022, which costs "only" 49 €. I would’ve never expected such a low price for them. Yes, they are not mainstream, but they are a so well established band in the music business, where I would have guess a higher price for meeting them. With this price you can afford it and have a chance meeting them in person. When I hear about musicians who costs 100-200 € only for the Meet&Greet, I’m really sad for the Fans who maybe never can afford it meeting them, even though they are such big fans and bought all the albums of them. Of course it’s worth a discussion, if you should really pay for meeting a musician 🫢 On my stagehand view I can also say, that I might have missed a lot of big shows (because we are normally not allowed to watch the concert where we helped), but sometimes it’s even more exciting seeing the preparations than the actual concert - for many different reasons 🤷🏻‍♀️😌 Okay, it’s still a long text 🙄😂 Funfact about prices for Taylor Swift: I’ve heard that Fans from the USA flew over to the concerts in germany, because the flight, hotel, concert,… in total doesn’t cost as much as one ticket for her shows in the USA 😅 Aaaand: excited for the new songs/album news 🙌🏻😁
