You can choose your color in the settings so you will not get into the problem with colors.

You should play Switzerland map you can get routes to connect cities to other countries and depending on the distance you get more points. Also it only counts the first country you connect to.

I love the africa map the most. Because it not only has Train cards but also Terrain cards you need to have to build a route and having the most ammount of a specifick terrain card of all players that turn. Will give you double building points that turn. I reallt recommend playing africa its a great map

In this version (USA), at the start of the game, you are dealt 3 train tickets, and must keep at least 2 of them, but can keep all 3. During gameplay, when you want more routes, you draw 3, but you only have to keep at least 1, and can keep 2 or all 3 if you feel you are able to complete the routes.

That's added in post. We do that so you can see everyone's routes and not just Ash's.
