headcanon of this character: banduxo (ban-doo-zo) expunged’s failed version of bandu, banduxo was intended to be sent to the void after not turning out how expunged hoped he would, but was instead sent to the place in between space and time where he sits to this day, waiting in pain for someone to save him. being sent to this place has caused his design to become nothing more than a wireframe (hey thats the funny song name,!!), restricting the already low amout of things he’s able to do, but after a blue haired little guy gets sent here (presumably also by expunged) and starts singing, he decides he wants to have at least a little bit of fun amidst the suffering. as if this guy hasn’t had enough troubles as is, he’s constantly worrying that what he calls “the disappearance” will happen. the disappearance is where he seemingly fades into nothing, or “dies,” and he can stay that way for up to a century if he’s unlucky. this is what happens at the end of the song, and the reason that banduxo fears it so much is that it feels like he’s breaking into trillions of pieces, slowly and painfully.

This song sends off such an odd vibe, I just imagine this playing on a montage of a clock as time flies by insanely fast (which i guess makes sense to the whole theme of this song). The instrumentals at some parts have that clock rythm and it really makes you feel like your time is running out, and the whole calm but tense melody going in the back as well, makes you feel like the world is ending. Trully amazing job, you have been my favorite fnf composer as of recently yet you are so underrated, it's a shame really. Hope you get heavily recognized at some point.

I like to think of them as what I dub “Blueprint Bambi” / “Originprint” considering the wireframe structure of this ‘Bandu’ and the DNA-themed background. Probably, they are every attempt that has ever been made at becoming a Bambisona (whether they are just another variant of Bambi, Bandu, Expunged, etc.) but either never made it past the physicality stage or was scrapped entirely. Because scrapped/unfinished characters are very unstable, Blueprint Bambi isn’t welcome in the presented cast of the DnB mod itself, and hides itself as a secret in that it is still able to exist whilst staying undetected. Because they aren’t meant to “exist”, it would explain the name of the track called “Ticking” as it would only be a matter of time before they’re erased entirely by somebody like Expunged or Bambi hence their distressed face in staying alive.

Ok so here’s my lore for this dude: His name is BProto1. He was created by Expunged as a prototype/blueprint for what would soon become Bandu. And after Bandu was created, Expunged considered BProto1 useless and destroyed him with the last thing he ever saw being a clock. However, he didn’t actually die, his soul moved on, eventually he resided inside of Boyfriend’s mind, hoping to put their soul into him and connect with him somehow to ask for help. And sure enough, BF soon encountered BProto1 in his dream. However when BProto1 tried to speak, he couldn’t, only being able to make noises, and as the song progressed and his soul fled BF’s mind, he knew time was running short. So basically the the whole song is a dream , therefore turning BProto1 into a dream, making him stop existing after the song ends and BF wakes up from fainting after disrupting the 3D world by touching the timer.

I have returned with an update on the Ticking Entity situation. So, I have more or less left the FNF community. That is the main reason I've put this all aside, but it's not the only reason. I have been in the Geometry Dash community for a while now (almost a year) and I have been waiting a while for 2.2. One the wait is over, I will get to work on a new project. This will be when I will finally use Ticking Guy. I'll come back when that's done, but until then, you can complain about how long this comment is.

After studying everything, I have come up with my own headcanon for this. This character is in a curse. It was forced to live inside the GApple code. This character cannot transfer to that of a different game, as it is going to break said code. It also does not have the power to do that. This code can manipulate up to the whole game when it feels threatened. However, there is no threat for it to encounter. This piece of code we will call "Ticking" used to be an old Bandu prototype, before it got deleted. Remember, Ticking is just a placeholder name. It really doesn't have one. The recycle bin was also emptied. Thus, it lost its voice and physical appearance. It can only type to communicate with itself. So, while living in the code, a placeholder song was randomly started and now the game is forcing Ticking to sing. While exploring the sprites, Ticking finds some placeholder sprites and connects them to make an appearance similar to the old prototype. It also finds the chromatic scale. Ticking does not know how to sing, so it uses memory from different songs that it has heard from before he got deleted. Ticking's memory is limited to what it knows, so it can't make up anything new for itself. After the song, Ticking's creation dissapears and all the sprites are reset, including the chromatic. This is also part of the curse. Ticking is unable to make its own appearance while the song is not playing, meaning it has to stay there and do nothing. Ticking knows he can't escape, but it still hopes a miracle would happen and get it out of here. Unfortunately, even an update won't save Ticking. Well, its pain would end if the song gets inevitably deleted, but then the whole game would be endangered, because of what I mentioned earlier. The devs cannot delete this song, because it is at the cost of the whole game. Because of this, Ticking will be trapped, *forever.* Bonus: Ticking all endings Expunged is a virus, so he can go inside code. Expunged actually created Ticking, and to him, Ticking failed. This is how it got into the curse. There are many ways this could go: 1. Ticking is brung back to the game by Expunged, and it is now Bandu's new friend. Ticking would also get pronouns. (he/him) 2. Ticking is deleted by Expunged, in a very painful way. Ticking tries to manipulate the whole game, but it is too late. The code slowly disappears, and it is the most painful thing, even the curse is better. 2.5. Ticking gets the whole game too early, and brings down the game with it. GApple is gone, along with Bandu. headcanon: (yes im including regular dnb lore to this) ill call the opponent "unknown" to keep things simple. unknown is an error to the timeline recurser hasnt detected for a while. when BF finds unknown, unknown is worried because he knows that recurser will find him thanks to BF. unknown dissapears because recurser has gotten rid of him.

Headcanon: This character in Ticking used to be a 2D character until he tried to become 3D by going to 3D Dave. Unfortunately, Dave made a mistake making him 3D turning him into nothing but wireframe (funny song name). Dave had to eventually send him to this place in Ticking as he kept talking about "The RTX ending" and "The Fourth Dimension." Now, he sits there just wanting to be freed.

I think this is connected to the song recurser because a Base64 cipher can be found inside of Recurser's XML file. Decoding this cipher reveals a link to the OST upload of Ticking, a song from Vs. Dave and Bambi: Golden Apple Edition. Why this was included is still currently unknown. But I just believe this is connected.

I think the lore is: OK, their name is Nonexisty (like in bfb, doesn't exist), but a developer put an errored code, and it turned sentient and took bandu's form and voice to get out so the developers would mistake him for bandu and think they accidentally put him in a infinite loop room of pain.

My Headcanon: This character was never really noticed by the others so they hid in a black void for the rest of their days and they don't really have a name or voice because they were never really noticed. How do they not have a voice you may or may not be wondering? Well, they DID have a voice at first but due to not interacting that much they had lost it. Now, let's get back on track. Due to the unexcepted turn of events in Disruption, in a panic the character had to quickly search the files and find the perfect voice and had to quickly put together a background and that is why I think they look so panicked in the song and quickly deletes it to make space.
