Tidal Tempest had, in my opinion, the best music in both the US and JAP/EU soundtracks of the game. The mashup takes two great things and produces something I could listen to all day. Really awesome work, Dill Tasker!

Well, the past themes were a different file type that Sega of America couldn't change, so they kept those the same.

Jarman97 The past themes were actually chiptunes, and thus were actually coded into the game- not so much a different file type as a different medium. The rest was CD-Audio, and easily replaced as a result.
