Wow Isaiah story is everything for me, from his eye and him persevering through, I can’t imagine losing my vision just as a non athlete, but losing it and actually having the Will power to keep pushing just gave me so much motivation ❤️🔥

Such a great story of perseverance and trust in Gods timing. Something we can all learn from Isaiah that even when we go through our trials and tribulations there is something to learn and with the right mindset and trust in God you can make your way back! Great pod that inspired me I’ll definitely be coming back.

Pierre Jackson, Deuce Bello, Quincy Miller, Perry Jones and if they had Isaiah Austin would have been prolly the most talented team of all time as far as hype and recruits. Baylor was NICE!!!!

growing up in the dallas area isiah will always be a legend. during his time in high school was one of the rare instances were the top private schools were on par with public. grace prep julius randle (prestonwood) then you had marcus smart and the Harrison twins leading top rated public schools.

1:19:37 "afterwards, I really felt I could have gotten another clearance letter written from him" 1:19:46 "but at that time, I had experienced everything I wanted to from the game." I think that's fair enough, good to hear your story Isaiah Austin hope your health is good, and that you can live for God God bless

Theo gave us a special one. I remember being in middle school hearing about a 7 ft point guard that played for Team Texas and that’s the moment when I realized I wasn’t goin to the league 😂 s/o Isaiah Austin ✊🏿

I knew he was a B when he talk about leaving schools and telling coaches dueces. Wanting to dribble up the court. So when he said he told coach Drew to stop drawing plays and coach Drew is one of the nicest coaches around. GOD humbled him and to hear he say if he left he wld be in the NBA. First no you wouldnt and second that heart test saved your life. Than Theo agrees with him like a dummy

I'm only a bit past halfway, but what I don't understand is why Isaiah is good enough to play in college but he can't play in the NBA with goggles (and players in the past wore goggles) Horace Grant wore goggles, Rip Hamilton wore the mask, I saw pictures of Ben Wallace wearing goggles like I searched Isaiah Austin and in 2018-19 he played 35 games in a league playing 26 mpg 16.7 ppg, 2 bpg, 8.3 boards, 0.6 steals per game he shoots 74% free throw percentage, which is better than plenty of guys in the NBA Daniel Gafford shoots like 67% career FT% Nick Claxton shoots like 54% career FT%
@justanobody0
@justanobody0 5 ай бұрын
and his wiki said on 2 separate occaisions he averaged 33+ points per game 10+ boards per game in a league once in 2017 for 16 games and once in 2018 for 32 games so I don't see why if he's healthy enough to play in other leagues that he wouldn't be healthy enough to play anywhere it's the same thing why I wonder why Dwight can play overseas, but no NBA team wants Dwight, or DeMarcus Cousins can play a bunch of minutes for some overseas team, but I guess the NBA said no DeMarcus Cousins :(
