Been a Niners fan since my first game at candlestick when I was nine and I’m 53 now. This is the best group of guys we have ever had. Each guy is beyond solid and Erik is the perfect guys to bring out the unique character of all the amazing guys on our team. LFG

Damn, Arik is such a good podcaster. The way he allows Nick to be comfortable and speak his mind is a skill. Getting people to open up on a live stream podcast is not easy.
@BazookaTooth707 Жыл бұрын
It probably helps that these guys have been friends and teammates for a while, too. Not saying Arik isn't a great podcaster, I was thinking the same thing. Just saying the familiarity helps Bosa feel more comfortable.

Bosa is a phenomenal guest very generous with his answers and Armstead has great interviewing chops. He should bring more players 49er or otherwise on. And Bosa should do more podcasts

Great interview - Arik was able to get Nick to talk a lot - even though it seems like Bosa is kind of an introvert. Please interview Brock Purdy - I love watch his interviews after games.

First time watching the podcast, and as a 49ers fan, it is good to see the players you cheer for on a family and "brother" chat not only talking about the game, but life itself and getting to know you fellaz. Awesome work Arik, and Bosa 👍🏻

I've been a fan since the age of 6 when watching the game was the only way to get my dad's attention. Next year it will be 50 years of being faithful. Thank you for all the memories. You got me through cancer, a broken neck, dv and single motherhood. I will be faithful till I die. Btw love the show. ❤

Man this was a phenomenal podcast by Arik. With so many sports podcasts being over the top or filled with clickbait stories, it was so cool to see both Arik and Nick be grounded & even vulnerable in moments. We already know Arik is a stand up dude with the stuff he does off the field but also seeing how level headed & introspective Nick is gave me a new perspective on him. Good stuff guys

That was a fun watch! We don't often get to see Bosa for too long so it was interesting to learn about how he's been dealing with the pressure, how he unwinds offseason, his hobbies, childhood, his relationship with Joey and simply just more about the person behind the uniform. Thanks for that one ☺
@spindragon Жыл бұрын
Really enjoyed watching this. Relaxed, laid back and personal. A whole different take than a sports reporter interview..

Don’t think anybody has ever heard Bosa speak that much since he’s been a pro. Couldn’t have picked a better way to bring him out to us fans. Been a Niner fan longer than you guys have been alive but as a fan we’ve never had real life exposure to the men behind the face masks so this is appreciated and needed more than y’all know! Now go get that ship!!!!

man what an enjoyable podcast.. arik such a soft spoken dude, so damn humble and really just a guy whose looking to improve themselves both as a football player and just as a person.. nick's been one of my favorite guys on the team and to hear him come out and and offer us a piece of his mindset was just great to hear and it was clear to see how much these guys support and rely on each other to become better people everyday.. thanks to both of y'all

Loved this Arik, your at your best on the podcast talking about what you know and love and bringing in other dline men like Nick is fantastic. Would love to hear from someone like Kevin Givens. Would be really interesting to hear his perspective on his career as a successful NFL linemen, how is it being at the top and yet having to fight every year to get into an incredible d line rotation. What his journeys been like?

Heads up to the production team: first of all, great setup. Everything is great. Although, there seems to be some sort of technical error/glitch I noticed around 27:18 behind Bosa on the left by the hallway. Thought I would point out that out. Thank God but I'm the only 9ers fan my little brother was, but my daughter was born on the same day as him, and she's a 9ers fan. 😂 At times she reminds me of him the tough side of him.

I'd say that David Lombardi is the only 49ers beat writer who understands how much you guys deliver for the defense even when it doesn't show up in the stat lines.
