I'm just about 30, but when in high school I read a book that I could never find again after returning it to the library. As I read it on my bed, I played this song and it etched itself into my memory to the point where I can only think of that book when this song rarely comes on the shuffle. It was about a single mother and her two teens who were twins, a boy and a girl, moving to a new small coastal town. The main plot was the boy falling in love and having confusing feelings about his best friend, only for them to share a night together before he disappears and ceases speaking to him and leaving him heartbroken. I can't hardly remember anything else about the book but I've been searching for it for a long ass time.

***** how do you think they sound off? Personally the mix on instant gratification is amazing, and it appeals a lot to Tillian's personal taste of pop music that you hear on his solo project, while also maintaining Swan's style and the DGD sound. Acceptance speech had a heavier approach because I feel Tillian wanted to sing to the bands style to prove he could fit in their sound, and then the band started working with his style and found the sound you hear in Instant gratification. I am interested in your opinion because you might have noticed something I would definitely listen to those albums again to try and find.

I think he's good in Dance Gavin Dance when recording and writing with them. But when they play older songs recorded by either Kurt or Johnny I agree that he can't match up with the song right. But I think when DGD writes with him it's pretty awesome. :)

Agreed. Got a buddy who says his work in DGD far surpasses this, and I completely disagree. I generally don't care for DGD's directionless lyrics and how they bounce around genre's in one song too often. This is Tillian's best work so far IMO, though his solo stuff is also good.
