This looks genuinely beautiful, one of the best model representations of Tidmouth ever! I'd have to say my favourite shots include James arriving at Tidmouth and Murdoch through the station glass. =) Overall awesome layout, and look forward to seeing it in the future.

WOW! This is just amazing, the scenery is stunning and Tidmouth looks awesome. This has to be your best video by far. Also your camera work is top notch(as always) and my favourite shot was James had the pulling into the station! This really brighten up my day! ~Michael

Your lucky to have the space for a layout such as that mate, people like me are not so lucky. I don't have alot of space for a big layout, mine is only 8 by 4 and thats not really big enough for a good interesting layout. You have a awesome layout mate and you made a nice video my fav shot had to be in the shed area with the coaling stage, well done mate.

You're welcome. Once my family renovates the house or I find a place of my own, I'm actually thinking of putting a layout in the basement and possibly doing some episode remake videos and I wanted to ask you if you had any tips on how to start this collection and assemble a layout as amazing as yours. I was going to try and actually make my layout look like the sets during the model seasons of the show.

Hey no problem! That is a great find! You never know what you find in the most unsuspecting places... I'm guessing at the Halloween section? ;) Well I guess my next question is, what does the smoke machine look like? I found a great smoke generator available from Vollmer, the German manufacturer of buildings and equipment, and from a few other places online, as I think small is better for steam and fog. Thank you for the helpful advice. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful layout, and I like the smoke effects too. ^_^ Is the Layout DCC?
@SudrianRailwayModeler11 жыл бұрын
You display a great sense of timing using it in these shots. Who is the manufacturer, how do you operate it, and any tips on how to use it? I assume you can plug it under the layout and feed it through the tracks like the show, but it still looks very atmospheric in achieving realism. Splendid!
@trainboy711 жыл бұрын
Aha, I knew you were an american. =D I love your Thomas videos. do you have DCC decoders fitted in the engines?
@SegaMario11 жыл бұрын
Ah, that ol' Norman. I assume Jinty's just called Jinty like in the RWS? Also, have you considered getting Dart from Hornby? Since you already got Murdoch there. Even if he's not 100% accurate to his prototype, he's a fun model to run. Just a suggestion, you don't need to take it into account. I only wonder how good he'll run around on your layout(s). ;)

I never knew there was a Tidmouth station, though it really gives me a look of the Knapford Station, the famous big arched station. Where did you buy it?
@ThomasFan24710 жыл бұрын
In the Railway Series, Tidmouth is the true "big station." The television series uses Knapford instead for reasons I'm unsure of. I purchased the station canopy from Rails of Sheffield I believe :)
