Napaka detalyado, at tamang tama sa topic na ito kc balak ko pong bumili ng latest na phone ngayong 2022.. lapit na kasing mag surrender ang cp ko. Subrang tagal narin kc cp ko. Naghahanap ako ng maganda ang camera malaki ang storage and matagal malobat. Malaki ang display at screen nito. Worth 10 to 12k badyet.

For me pagka bibili ako nang phone usually one year old na. Brand new pero last year na phone. Kasi mayroong phone na maraming bugs hardware and software. Especially ung infamous Samsung galaxy Note 7. After one year for sure lahat nang issue na solve na nang manufacturer. At tsaka its much cheaper than current upto date phones. In terms of battery performance hindi naman ganoon kalaspag ang mga flagship na one year after their release kasi hindi naman siya gamit brand new pa. Or hindi naman siguro one year maybe 6 months kasi ung mga phones are manufactured by batch hindi ung kung kelan ung launch date may million of inventories na sila.

Janus gawa ka pa rin ng video sa AMOLED vs LCD. Maybe may maganda ka din angle na hindi masyadong nako-cover ng ibang tech reviewers! I-add ko lang sa dapat tingnan ng consumers sa smartphones, sa camera kung may stabilization instead na PDAF lang, tsaka kung gaano kabilis kumuha ng shots sa night mode. lalo na kung aabot sa 20k or even higher. Salamat ulit sa mga videos, very informative!

Agree! On top of these, water resistance is also non negotiable for me nowadays. Very helpful siya especially kung mahilig lang maglapag ng phone mo sa table habang kumakain. Ilang beses ko ng natapunan ng tubig. Haha! Software support din ng company ay important for me. Dapat at least 2 years nila i-support software updates. Otherwise, no, no no.

In addition din sa sinabi ni Boss Pinoy Techdad wag kayo mag over spend sa mga features na hindi nyo naman gagamitin. Bibili kayo ng Samsung Galaxy Ultra S22 tapos hindi nyo naman gagamitin yung SPen or bibili kayo ng mga super high end chipset pero Facebook and KZbin lang naman ang gagawin nyo which kaya din naman ng mga mid range chipset. Pero kung unlimited ang budget nyo at hindi sasakit ang bulsa nyo sa ilalabas nyo na pera ok lang mag over spend sa phone na gusto nyo basta ang importante masaya kayo sa phone or gadget na yan.

Kung gusto nyo malaman ang battery endurance.. tignan nyo sa specs makikita nyo sa platform ng batt ang "nm" means nano meter. Mas mababa ang nano meter or "nm" means suoer tipid sa batt like 7nm and below . But mostly mga 5000-7000mah ay nasa 12nm ..mas mataas ang refresh rate at chipset mas matakaw sa battery

My own recommendation(Bias). Set a budget(You don't need 10k-120k PHP for just browsing the internet) Find accessories and case before getting the phone(High end stuffs from iphone and sammy never had problems on this) Do you use phone for 14 hours a day? Get LCD Panel.

@@TheGerardDavid These are my points. 1. LCD can take abuse much more than OLED, You can set it to 100% Brightness all the time for many years to come and not worry about it. 2. Even if the lumens are below 600 nits you can see it under direct sunlight given you pushed the brightness to max. 3. In case you break it LCD Panels are much cheaper than OLED panels. 4. If you have Epilepsy OLEDs can trigger it for you. lower the brightness of oled phone and see it with your camera you see it blinking. I wish I was making this up. but it's true since apple is giving warning about it. OLEDs are prettier but LCDs are more practical. Newer technology doesn't necessarily means it's better. Everything has a pros and cons PS. I have both LCD and OLED as my daily driver, But since I can't abuse the OLED like how I treat my LCD phone, It won't retire anytime soon. XZ Premium 4k IPS LCD panel 5.46 Inch. which I've been abusing since 2017 5II FHD+ OLED 120hz Panel 6'1. Inch I just got this year

Again depends on the brand but most of the time you are right about lcd being cheaper. 4. Can't confirm if oled is worse but even LCD screen could trigger epilepsy.

And for those meticulous in picking a phone, I think we can all agree to this list. 5G right now is only in selected areas so apektado lang sa pagpili neto eh yung mga meron sakanila hehe love the video and effort sir Janus. Nag-iimprove every time. Also, I'd like to see your personal experience in amoled burn ins kasi my cousins and brother have experienced this. Pero it took almost 2yrs to manifest in their phones. And from what I've seen, either naiwan na yung keypad sa screen or parang nasunog ba yung some part of the screen. Mas ok pa pag yung may image retention kasi parang dead pixels dating dun sa may sunog. Di na makita.

Hi tech dad, love your content para sa mga practical na tao kagaya ko. Over the years of buying smartphones lately ko lang nakuha Yun mga dapat na hanapin sa Isang smartphone na kailangan ko. Share ko lang sir how I choose my smartphones. It depends sa kung saan ko gagamitin, like me ndi ko kailangan ng magandang camera a decent photo quality is good for me, ang important sa akin is speed/performance, battery life and build quality. So I usually fall on midrange smartphones, kaya sobrang ok sa kin Yun pocophone f series, just didn't buy the f3 kasi parang alanganin Yun release nya early 2021 Yun mga previous kasi around towards end of the year so medyo malayo pa dun sa susunod na release of phones( ayaw ko kasi Yun feeling na "sayang Sana naghintay pa ko kasi may lumabas na mas latest"). Lastly I want to share is my phone should last around 3 years, I mean last and still be usable in terms of performance, Ika nga is FUTURE PROOFING. Hindi din kasi mura ang smartphones. Probably the best TIL I got from you is the candybar term. Never knew it was called that way. With regards to the camera, probably the best example is an iPhone. For the longest time they have been using 12mp pixel size but they always improve the software and sensor. IMO the most recent to consider between the 7 tips is the charging speed. I remember about few years ago that spec is not even mentioned in reviews and now you have to and phone makers put that on the box.

Yes, you can have the best overall rounder flagship phones ( Samsung S21 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Fold/flip 3, Xiaomi mi 11 ultra, Vivo V70 Pro Plus, iPhone 13 pro max, Pixel 6 pro, Realme GT, OnePlus 9, Oppo Find X3 pro ) But there is always that one phone that always falls behind the category Big notch Slow charging speed Fragile back and that's the iPhone. if touch ID, USB type C and durable back is Implemented, iPhone would probably be the best of all Smartphones already that easily.

Actually the Mega pixel count is also important because you can have your pictures developed in big sizes. That's the purpose of Mega pixels count. Just like on tv 480p =CRT tv's Full HD 1080p, Current 4K & last future 8K. My LGV20 records at 4K. Thank you!

Ang simplest way para macheck ung battery endurance is icheck mo ung kung anong display ang gamit, theoretically mas matipid sa battery ang amoled kumpara sa lcd dahil di gumagamit ng backlight ung black colors. Aside sa display type check din ang screen size kahit na sabhin nten mataas ang mAh ng battery kung malaki naman ang screen size malakas din ang consumption neto sa battery, so kung gusto mo ng pang matagalan ng battery hanap malaking capacity (5000mAh) ero hindi ganon kalaki ang screen size. Lastly kung importante sau ang battery wag kang pipili ng phone na mataas ang refresh rate (120+hz) dahil the higher refresh rate mas mataas ang consumption sa battery. Important to note din is icheck mo ung mga bloatware kasi minsan may mga pre-installed apps na di mo kailangan na ng rurun sa background na maaring ngcoconsume ng battery

@@ak_oneoneone usually ung mga global or international model wala silang gaanong bloatware ang maraming bloatware ung mga chinese rom mraming mga chinese apps at kung ano ano, pede mo rin iflash ung ROM pero maging all stock android. I turn off mo rin ung mga auto update o auto sync ng ibang apps mo.

About LCD and LED, for me prefer prin ung LCD screen kc mas mtibay panggaming. heavy gamer aq s phone and kung macra or maburn man ung screen q mas mura ung LCD screen pag bumili ka kesa s amoled screen na halos PRang bumili k nrin ng new phone. Mali ka jan par, mas matibay ang Amoled, kaya nga nakakagawa ang samsung ng Foldable screens dahil sobrang durable ang amoled hindi gaya ng IPS na umaasa lang sa backlight panel para gumana yung screen, saka karamihan ng waterproof phones ay Amoled na ang gamit, baka di mo lang naeexperience gumamit ng amoled phones kaya sinasabi mo na di siya matibay, Kung mapapansin mo mga heavy gamers iPhone ang gamit nila, Ang iPhone ay Oled ang gamit or sa madaling salita other version ng Amoled, pansin mo ba na sira agad yung phones nila diba hindi? mas mabilis nga masira oag IPS kasi mabilis uminit ang LCD kaysa sa Amoled pagdating sa games.

@@chairshema parang ngayon lang ako naka kita ng argument about Water proofing argument about sa panel ng phone. Water resistance has nothing to do with the panel. It's how good the device was sealed shut and how well and how long can it handle the pressure. Heating has nothing to do with the panel either. It's mostly the SOC or the battery, then the ram. Burn test with a lighter lcd usually it's pixels recover while most oled panels turns white. Iphone was the choice because the soc is mostly better and developers will surely include iphones on the shortlist of devices to have optimization priority. Lcd common issues, backlight bleed. Oled common issues, pink lines, uneven gray pixels, green/red/blue tinting, Both may or may not have ghost touch. Folding screens are usually oleds and it's notorious for having issues too, plastic screen deforms, Samsung with it's bendable glass breaks in half under the term material fatigue.

@@akaraikiriakatsuki3157 You need to test it by yourself and not only relying on some so called "Reviewers" defending LCD vs OLED or Amoled, ako mismo napatunayan ko yan mula ako sa LCD phones ngayon naka Amoled phone na ko, at isa lang masasabi ko, mas madaling masira ang LCD kaysa sa Amoled, at yung color ng Liquid Cristal ng LCD mabilis maging malabnaw yung kulay after a year compare sa Amoled, tungkol naman sa pag sinunog ang Screen gamit lighter, wala naman kasing matinong bumili ng phone para lang itapat sa apoy yung screen nila 😂 walang ganun besh 😂 ako nga kahit alam ko na water resistant ang phone ko di ko talaga to binabasa kasi may speaker parin naman to at charging port na pwedeng mangalawang pag napasukan ng tubig, anything naman na gamit lalo na kung mamahalin ay iingatan mo diba? at Lastly yung burn in na "PINANGTATAKOT" ng mga karamihan ng tech vloggers sa mga di pa nakaka subok ng Amoled ay bihira lang po, (take note it ) bihira lang yan, dahil una di mo talaga masasagad ang screen brightness ng Amoled dahil kahit 60% pa lang ay napakaliwanag na ng display mo tapos naka set pa sa Vivid yung color, nangyayari lang yang burn in sa mga taong laging naka set sa 80% to 100% screen brightness, at tingin ko nakakahilo na sa mata yung ganun set ng brightness sa screen, saka bakit mo naman isasagad ang brightness ng screen mo eh kung sa LCD nga halos naka 45% ka lang dahil alam mong mabilis malowbat ang phone mo pag tinaas mo ang SB ng phone, at nakakalabo din ng paningin pag mataas palagi ang SB ng monitor or screen na ginagamit mo.

@@chairshema Naka oled din ako sa bago ko na phone, I don't see your point lmao. I'll get a flagship phone with lcd if there's one but wala ng ganun ngayon so sucks for me. The fact na kailangan mo ingatan or hindi ma over use yung panel speaks to it's durability. Just for you to know 4k IPS TRILUMINOS yung LCD panel na meron ako. And I used my lcd phone 8 to 14 hours a day, I have also tested the IP rating nung naihagis sa 5 feet deep yung phone. LCD wasn't inferior to OLED. Both have pros and cons. Oled tipid yun pag puro blacks kasi patay yung pixel, it's the total opposite if it's displaying more whites and bright colors. These are my phones 2011 St15i years of service 6 years. LCD 2017 XZ Premium 4 years and counting. IPS LCD 5II 2021 OLED. Anu ba mga lcd phone mo?

@@akaraikiriakatsuki3157 I have Huawei Y6 Pro and Oppo A71, mas nakakaranas pa ako nung burn in sa IPS kaysa sa Amoled ko, lalo pag may matagal na image na naka screen save tapos bigla ko nilagay sa home screen, naiiwan yung ibang details ng picture dun sa screen, kung titignan mo naman priceless ang display experience ng user kapag Amoled or Oled ang gamit nilang phones kumpara sa IPS, mas black kung black, although hindi mapoproduce gaano yung white dahil kalimitan ng mga Amoled or OLed ay medyo yellowish ang pagka white niya pero mas detalyado talaga ang images pag Naka Amoled kumpara sa IPS, saka naka ilang bagsak na ko sa phone ko ng solid surface at mostly tiles yung binagsakan pero di naman siya nabasag kumpara sa mga LCD phone ko dati na basag agad kahit mababa lang yung pinagka bagsakan, at pagdatin naman sa gaming experience, look at most gaming phones ngayon gaya ng Black shark, Rog Phone, Nubia Red Magic lahat naman yan naka Amoled eh pero ang smooth nila pagdating sa games, kung Mas ok ang IPS sa gaming edi sana IPS nalang ang nilagay sa mga yan?
